Hello and welcome to the trust your truth guided meditation album.
This is the sixth meditation that goes with the sixth chapter which is the sixth chakra and this is the third eye chakra.
This is the pineal gland right at the center of the midbrain and it is our willingness and our capacity to see the truth.
In the yoga tradition the ancient Sanskrit word satya means truthfulness and it means that we have a willingness to dissolve the delusions and the illusions and actually see the truth of what is unfolding before us.
And so the intention of this meditation is to bring some clarity to the mind and to cultivate an inner environment in the mind for truth-seeing.
One of my favorite quotes is quoted in the book and it's from Friday Night Lights the television television series and it's clear eyes full hearts can't lose clear eyes full hearts can't lose.
So in this practice we are working on connecting to our willingness and our capacity to see with clear eyes.
All right let's go ahead and close the eyes and begin to connect into your inner sight.
By closing the outer eye we are journeying inward and connecting to the inner eye.
And if it's comfortable for you we'll bring the palms to face up just connecting to this energy of receptivity of higher vibrational energy of truth and light of the capacity of the mind to think and know and see and discern what is truth.
And we'll begin with the sacred sound of Aum.
And as we Aum together imagine this vibration resonating in the mind as if the sound vibration the sacred sound of Aum the unifying sound of the universe is echoing through the skull and moving this vibration of unification of oneness through all neural pathways and through the entire mind.
Taking a deep inhale and we'll Aum together.
Aum.
Feeling the sound of silence the awareness of spaciousness after the vibration of sound.
And in the center of the brain imagine placing a light a tiny flame a flame from a candle.
And imagine this light illuminating all neural pathways all corners and crevices of the mind that this light represents your willingness to see to discern truth to see the truth of what is occurring and unfolding before you.
And as this flame illuminates the mind also having some awareness and reverence for the shadow the dark space which is being illuminated humbly remembering that there will always be something we do not see something that is unconscious unseen out of the periphery of our clear sight.
So just humbly remembering that part of seeing truth is remembering that there is something that we are not seeing.
And gently bringing the awareness now to the tip of the nose and feeling the breath moving on the inhale from the tip of the nose to the third eye center the bridge of the nose between the eyebrows.
And as the body exhales just gently tracing this vibration of breath moving from the third eye center between the eyebrows back to the tip of the nose.
Inhaling from the tip of the nose to the third eye center.
Exhaling from the third eye center to the tip of the nose.
And gently at the tip of the nose at the base of each nostril imagine a tiny ball of light like a tiny sun smaller than the size of the pinky fingernail.
A tiny ball of light at each nostril.
And as the body inhales imagine that this light is moving from the tip of the nose to the center of the brain.
And as the body exhales this light moves from the third eye center back to the nostrils.
It's as if the breath is just naturally pulling this vibration of light from the base of the nostrils to the third eye and to the midbrain.
And on the exhale from the midbrain and the third eye this energy is drawn back to the nostrils to the tip of the nose.
And sensing that this light is prana,
Life force,
Energy,
Riding the wave of the breath.
And with each inhaling breath you are gathering prana,
Gathering light,
Illuminating the mind and the midbrain.
And releasing that visualization of the breath and light at the nose,
Letting that go.
Sensing that you may be coming just a little bit more available to seeing,
Witnessing,
Acknowledging truth.
And gently asking yourself now as if you are placing this question in the seed of your mind,
What do I know to be true?
Just planting this seed at the center of the mind,
This question,
What do I know to be true?
What do I know to be true?
And just notice what bubbles up,
What emerges.
And then gently beginning to wiggle the fingers and wiggle the toes.
And inhale,
Reach the arms up overhead,
Take a big stretch upward.
And exhaling as if you are gathering that upward energy and bringing it to the third eye center,
Bringing the hands to the center of the chest.
Or you can even rest your thumbs on the third eye center between the eyebrows if you wish.
I'm taking a deep inhale into the whole body and exhaling,
Bowing the chin to the chest,
Honoring and acknowledging the wisdom and intelligence of the mind.
May the mind and the thoughts be in service of the highest truth.
May we have the courage to see clearly,
To discern,
To know,
And to remember what is most important on our paths and our journeys.
And may we harness and utilize the incredible power of cognition of mind to strategize and think in service of our purpose,
Our vision,
And our truth.
Deep inhale into the whole body.
And complete exhale,
Letting it all go.
Slowly bringing the head up,
Opening the eyes,
Taking in the light,
The outer light,
And notice what you see.
Welcome back.
