This is Daily Magic for Peace.
Today we will breathe into the concept of peace.
Welcome to the circle.
So the only item you need today is your breath.
Just a quiet place to hang out for a few minutes and breathe.
Welcome to the circle today.
I invite you to take your place in the circle and look around at all these people in your mind's eye who are here with you for this episode.
Our first grounding experience today will be connecting with the sounds around us.
So I invite you to begin noticing what do you hear?
How many things at once do you hear?
Does it make a difference if you close your eyes?
Perfect.
Our second grounding experience today will be something I like to call sky breathing.
But before we do that,
Let's take a minute and get grounded because I think that's always a good idea.
So I invite you to notice what you're sitting on or lying on or standing on.
Notice what's under you,
What's supporting your body.
See if you can connect your roots,
Your groundedness,
Your connection to the earth.
Allow that to deepen and increase.
And it's totally fine to imagine it if you cannot feel it today.
Now I invite you to breathe into your heart.
Just take a couple of breaths into your heart.
Breathing in and out.
And again in and out.
And while we're connected to the heart,
Let's extend up.
We extended down already.
Now let's extend up.
Up through our head and the space above our head and the ceiling above our head and the space above that.
Maybe more ceilings until we're out in the open air,
Out of the atmosphere and into the cosmos.
Connecting up.
And sky breathing is basically just a circle.
We're going to breathe into our heart and exhale up to the sky.
And breathe that sky energy down into our heart.
And exhale back up.
Breathe down in.
And at your own pace,
Just breathing in,
Breathing that sky energy into your heart.
Releasing,
Breathing more sky energy into your heart and releasing.
And see what it feels like to fill your whole body with that cosmic energy,
That heavenly energy,
That sky energy.
Does it make your body feel any different?
And remember,
You're still grounded.
If you feel like you're going to float away,
Just remember you are grounded and you can connect back.
And let's shift now and just come into the heart.
Today we're going to breathe the concept of peace.
Staying with that deep breathing,
Coming to the heart,
Settling now in the heart.
I invite you to picture a scene that is very calming to your mind and your body and your heart.
Maybe this was on a vacation or getting into bed after a really long,
Hard day.
What's an image that brings you peace?
A peaceful setting,
A zen garden,
A rose,
A campfire.
Let's find an image that speaks peace to you.
When you have that image,
Just invite you to begin breathing,
Breathing it in.
That circular breathing like we were just doing with the sky.
Try doing that with this image,
This peaceful image.
Breathing it in and letting go and then breathing in again and letting go and just continuing.
If you have thoughts or distracting ideas,
That's fine.
They're totally welcome.
Just bring your focus back to this image,
This moment,
This image of peace,
Breathing it in.
I invite you to keep breathing in this image just for another minute or so.
Today we're not going to send this anywhere.
Today we're just going to bathe in this breath of peace.
If you feel called to send it somewhere,
You can absolutely do that.
And you can also just bathe in it and let it fill you so that when you go on about your day,
You will be that much more peaceful.
And you,
Just by living your life and talking with the people you see and the people you interact with,
You'll be spreading that little bit more peace in the world.
We need time to fill our own wells when we are sending so much love to people.
So I invite you to bring your visualization to a close.
Maybe take one final breath in and out.
Maybe so.
