Hello guys,

Welcome to this talk and today's topic is five easy ways to bring more mindfulness into your everyday practice.

So as a mindfulness life coach I know that mindfulness is considered something like meditation,

Something that is hard,

Something that is very formal that you have to sit down and do and actually it's something completely different,

Something completely opposite because meditation is usually a formal practice.

What means that you have to sit down,

You have to take your time to do it.

It's something very formal,

Something that you kind of give all your attention to in the right time.

And mindfulness,

Also meditation doesn't have to be something like this but it usually is and mindfulness is the informal practice.

What means that it can be done while doing other things.

So you can add mindfulness to your everyday practice and you don't even have to change your daily habits.

So I divided these five different habits for morning,

Midday and evening.

And here we start with morning.

So the first thing that I really love doing and I practice for years now is to write down your morning thoughts,

Your dreams,

Your goals,

Your,

You know,

Your feelings,

Just anything that is in you at the moment that you wake up.

So I think that the best thing to feel encouraged to practice something like this was to buy a journal that you really resonate with,

Not that you feel like bad,

That you know it looks bad or something and you're like oh I don't really want to do it.

You know,

It's just like it come,

It will become natural for you as a habit after you do it but something that you know for the beginning that the journal just looks good or you just like it and you want to open it,

You want to write it because you like the pages the way they look like,

You know,

The lines or something,

You know,

You like your pen,

Just try to make it as pleasant as possible so that your mind will like it.

After a few months you won't care about it anymore but in the beginning it's very important.

So it's good to write down if you remember your dreams it can be really interesting so that you can like look back at them and if you remember,

Actually it's the thing that you only remember your your dreams just as you wake up usually and if possible because usually we don't remember but if we remember we usually remember them just after we wake up and there's only a few minutes when we think about them when we can write them down fully just as they were because when we stop thinking about them and we go on with our routine we can completely forget about them which is crazy and interesting in the same time so if you wake up and remember your dream you can write them down which is also some sort of mindfulness practice because you have to be aware of your thoughts and also you know writing down your morning thoughts even something like oh my god I think today is gonna be a bad day this is also great and especially your feelings this is very important as the first thing to do in the morning to dive deep in yourself and to just focus on your feelings focus on your thoughts so that's the first thing the second thing I also like to do and I practice not for such a long time but I found it very amazing and helpful is to make a list of things you want to do it's not the to-do list when there are the things that you have to do something like do something for work or send some email or something these are the things that you want to do so for example go for a walk you know go swim in the ocean you know something like this some things that will bring you joy of course maybe you want to work today and you can also write it down but I just want to say that this is not a basic to-do list this is the wanna-do list you know you just basically get deep in your thoughts and your needs and your feelings and some of them subconsciously show up some of them consciously you just know that you have to for example do self-care evening in order to feel better and something like that but usually our needs manifest themselves subconsciously so it's really also very amazing how you just ask yourself what do I want to do today and things just show up in your head and you write them down and when you do these things you realize how much you needed them and how they just manifested subconsciously and also when you do something that you wrote on that list you can maybe not take a picture but try to memorize it or just keep it in your journal and look at it a few times a day and when you did something that you wrote down I really love you to do something like celebrating your little wins so when you did something that you wrote down hug yourself or you know just say you're so amazing like I'm so amazing feel grateful for it just celebrate your little wins be kind to yourself be like oh yeah I'm so amazing I did it this is very important and it's also very encouraging to your mind that will like it you know that we all feel good and your mind will want you to do these things all the time so now we come to the midday I consider midday also really important part of the day you know of course if you start if you start your day right which is the morning time your whole day it will be amazing but I experienced something like this as a some sort of perfectionist that's when I wake up and even if I have a good morning routine I did all of my meditations all of my yoga practices I ate healthy breakfast if I don't do anything like this to like 1 p.

Or something like this I immediately begin to feel like this day goes to trash like this day is a waste and I feel like you know doing something good to yourself mindful and just you know something like you did in the morning in the midday will actually be that yes you know be that sign that says yes this is a good day so the first thing that I really think that will be great to do in the midday is to take a consciousness check so the consciousness check is something that I've learned after having my own line classes you know I have to spend the whole day you know just stick to my computer and sitting by the desk so it's really easy especially while working to just get lost work time is a time that I believe is the most mindless time because we just get completely lost in the work and we work and we forget that we exist so usually I tend to have something like this that I just wake up after working I'm like oh shit where am I like am I here like what's going on you know I completely get cut off from my body and from my mind from my feelings I'm just thinking and just feeling and doing everything experiencing the work life instead of my life so I really like to ask I really like to ask myself the question where is my body this is something like you know you have to like touch yourself you have to like feel your body and this really centers me and grounds me you know it's just like okay I'm here it's really great to like you know stand up and even like do some movement when you're in the you know in your workplace maybe it's not like you have to do it you can even just stand up and go grab some water this is also a movement you don't have to do yoga in the middle of your office but I really like to quickly step on my mat just do some quick movements to feel my body so this is a habit that I think that is really important and really great just like to check not really where's my body but just like where am I what's going on just become aware of what's actually going on besides that work life and actually the best part is when you set a reminder on your phone I think that this is how you can practice all of this by setting a reminder on your phone for like you know 1 p.

When you're just like the time you're working like every two hours or something and if you like do this constantly every day it will become a habit and it will come naturally as a habit to your daily life so you will not only be working and naturally take a break just like naturally once you know your consciousness just like wakes up and let me okay what's going on you'll be like this every day but not only in work but also in other things you know you'll be cooking you'll be walking and you'll be like okay where am I you know this thing will just show up in your head naturally is a habit after you practice this thing for three weeks at least and the next thing the fourth thing is to just take basically five or ten minutes time of being fully here you know you can take a break from your work or you can just like stand up and look out of the window or just even work and be like just try to focus on what is here just try to go beyond your mind beyond your deadlines beyond all of the things that you're thinking and just be like okay I'm observing now I'm not acting I am observing and you just sit watch your co-workers watch the nature watch the city you can see out of the window watch your body just you know even watch your processes that are happening in your body like you're maybe digesting something and you're feeling hungry or thirsty you know just at least five minutes it's not a lot but it can really change your life and now we go to the evening and evening I think is a time you know that is not really that important like every time is that important but evening is no longer like oh you know when you do something wrong in the evening the day is not wrong anymore because the day is actually done so when you're you know in your bed or something right before sleeping or just when you're feeling it after your work time the thing that I recommend doing is to write down your feelings write down kind of like just describe your day you can even just like journal and tell dear journal today was great or something like this you can basically write down your whole day on your page and just have it like that you can write down your feelings just focus on how you felt that day how you feel right now especially how you feel right now and also just take a moment and ask yourself what am I grateful for you know what blessings happened to me today it can be something like I briefed I ate I had house I had place to work in I had money you know just basics and also you can just write down what made me happy you know it's important to remember like I said before to celebrate this little wins and focus on these beautiful little but still big blessings of your day and the last thing which is still number five but the last thing of writing down things in your notebook would be to set an intention for feeling good the next day so even if today was bad tomorrow will be good you know tomorrow starts today in the evening so you can just write down that tomorrow would be a good day not only write it down but feel it and I think that this can help so I really hope that my advices could help you and I can't wait for you to tell me about your experiences maybe you loved some of my ideas maybe you have some questions maybe you have some recommendations maybe you also want to share your own ways of practicing mindfulness in your daily life so we can write down everything in the comments or email me send me a message yeah I would really love to hear from you and to know if something happens and if I could help you thank you so much for listening and like I said I hope I could help you and I wish you a beautiful mindful life namaste
