Hello my fellow hearkeners and welcome to the 29th day of Lent.
Today's meditation builds on yesterday's meditation and is a transition from the Call to Endurance section of this Lent series to this new section beginning today,
The Great Essential.
Yesterday,
We meditated upon the Holy Spirit being within us.
Today,
We expand upon that and what it means for us.
Today,
We meditate upon The Great Essential,
Aka peace and loving-kindness.
To begin this meditation,
I invite you to close your eyes.
Notice that with this simple act of closing your eyes,
Your mind gets quieter,
Your body becomes more relaxed,
Your spirit becomes more still.
Let's enter this meditation with this spirit of stillness.
Let's enter this meditation with a spirit of gratitude.
Let's enter this meditation with a spirit of peace and loving-kindness.
Peace and loving-kindness is The Great Essential.
Peace and loving-kindness is the ultimate renewable resource.
The more we expend,
The more we create.
The more we expend,
The more we create.
We have the power within us to create more peace and more loving-kindness through the power of the Holy Spirit within us.
And we create more simply by giving it away.
By giving it away,
We create more peace.
We create loving-kindness.
We create The Great Essential by giving it away.
Peace and loving-kindness is the ultimate renewable resource.
The more we give away,
The more we create,
And the more we receive.
The more we give away,
The more we receive.
The peace and loving-kindness multiplies by being dispersed and by being consumed.
It is the ultimate renewable resource.
It is The Great Essential.
Thank you for sharing this tender sacred space with me today,
My fellow Hearkeners.
May grace and peace and light and love be with you.
