Fruits of Fall, Day Eleven (of Twenty One): A meditative exercise on the specific spiritual fruit we observed yesterday, Kindness. The contemplative music in the background of this meditation is written, composed, performed and produced by Sean J Stevens & is called “Be Still.” It also exists as a stand-alone track on Insight Timer. Note: As part of this meditation we observe one of the Hebrew Names for God: YHWH Rachuwm, which means The Compassionate One.

Hello my dear Harkonners.

Today's meditation is an exercise in cultivating the spiritual fruit we observed yesterday.

To get into the spirit of meditation,

I welcome you to be still.

Quiet your mind,

Relax your body,

And calm your spirit.

Close your eyes if it is safe and helpful to do so.

And be still.

Posture your spirit toward non-judgment,

Especially toward yourself in this meditation.

Because meditation is not about what we are or are not getting accomplished.

It is a time to just be.

And embrace a heart and mindset of peace and loving kindness.

So this meditation,

I again invite you to place your hands in the prayer position,

Palms flat against one another,

Fingers pointing up in front of your chest.

Remember to observe good body posture.

And repeat this simple prayer with me.

Yahweh rahum,

Compassionate one,

We ask that you transform each one of us into a tree of kindness,

That together we may be a forest of compassion.

Yahweh rahum,

Compassionate one,

We ask that you transform each one of us into a tree of kindness,

That together we may be a forest of compassion.

Yahweh rahum,

Compassionate one,

We ask that you transform each one of us into a tree of kindness,

That together we may be a forest of compassion.

Let us be a forest of compassion.

Let me be a tree of compassion.

Let me be a tree of kindness.

Let us be a forest of compassion.

Yahweh rahum,

We ask that you transform each one of us,

We ask that you transform each one of us into a tree of kindness,

That together we may be a forest of compassion.

Let me be a tree of kindness.

Let us be a forest of compassion.

Thank you for meditating with me today,

My dear Harkonners.

May grace and peace,

Light and love be with you.
