In this 2nd in a series of pep talks, I share passages from the book, Enough as You Are, that inspire heart-centered, helpful perspectives, including the importance of self-love, authenticity, connecting with joy, and showing up for your life, just as you are. As with the previous pep talk, this one is created to reconnect you to the power of your strength, your compassion, your worthiness, and so much more. As you sink more deeply into your breath, you will open to the expansiveness of your heart, and with several intentional affirmations, you will rest with clarity in your power, and your grace. At least I hope so!

Hi there,

This is Scott,

And I'd like to welcome you to this pep talk,

The second in a series of two pep talks so far,

With several more on the horizon.

I'm going to be sharing with you some inspiring passages from the book,

Enough As You Are.

So,

Let's start by getting comfortable,

However that looks and feels for you.

Just allow yourself to breathe in whatever way feels most natural.

There's absolutely no need to force anything.

Just allow your body to find its most comfortable position,

And let your breath fall into its most natural rhythm.

I'm going to start by reminding you that you are beautiful,

Worthy,

And enough,

Just as you are.

So really allow yourself to connect with your heart and feel the truth of those words.

You are beautiful,

Worthy,

And enough,

Just as you are.

Always have been,

And always will be,

For real.

Now as we settle into this pep talk,

There are many things I'd love for you to consider.

Number one,

Every ounce of energy you put into being someone you are not,

Takes away from the indescribable joy that comes with being yourself.

When you're brave enough to live in your truth,

Quirks,

Insecurities,

Fears,

And all,

You carve out paths for others to do so as well.

You inspire in them the same commitment to a life without falseness,

A deep desire for something real.

You are everything you need to be,

And what a gift you give our world simply by being yourself.

Now take a deep breath and repeat the following statement either silently or out loud,

I am whole and radiant in my authenticity.

Number two,

Do not limit yourself because of past realities.

Who you are right now is someone you have never been before,

With more experience and insight than you've ever had.

Be willing to believe in yourself.

Be willing to trust yourself.

You can manifest life-changing wonders when you believe in your ability to create them.

Now take a deep breath and repeat the following statement either silently or out loud,

I am willing to believe and trust in myself like never before.

Number three,

Every single thing within you is worthy of love.

Even better,

You have the power to love every single thing within you.

Invite it all into your heart,

Welcome it all home,

And let your love make friends with the whole of you.

Now take a deep breath and repeat the following statement either silently or out loud,

I am willing to love myself completely.

One more time with that one,

I am willing to love myself completely.

Number four,

You never know when you'll be the person who ignites an awakening in someone else.

That's why it's so important to weave kindness and love into our interactions as often as possible.

It may be in the advice you give your dearest friend or the unfiltered smile you offer to some stranger at the store.

It may be your willingness to stop whatever it is you're doing to listen or the way in which you allow your eyes to rest on another without judgment.

You can't predict when you will be the catalyst for something wonderful to light up another human being.

But there will be many such moments when your love and compassion are just what someone needs to feel understood and okay and inspired to feel seen.

Now take a deep breath and repeat the following statement,

Either silently or out loud.

My love makes a huge difference in our world.

Number five,

Don't forget to surrender to the moments of joy that present themselves.

Immerse yourself in every wave of bliss that dares to swallow you.

Soften,

Sink,

Let yourself go.

Now take a deep breath and repeat the following statement,

Either silently or out loud.

I open myself to experiencing abundant joy.

Let's say that one again to really feel it this time.

I open myself to experiencing abundant joy.

Number six,

There's nothing to fix about you.

Only things to remember.

Once again,

There's nothing to fix about you.

Only things to remember.

Now take a deep breath and repeat the following statement,

Either silently or out loud.

I do not need fixing because I am not broken.

Number seven,

Just show up as you are.

You don't have to look or feel great.

You don't have to be prepared for each challenge or know all the hows of every situation.

You don't have to be fearless,

Have all the answers,

Or be 100% ready.

Nobody is any of these things.

Nobody ever was.

It's not about being perfect at all.

You just have to show up as you are.

Despite all the objections and insecurities of your mind.

Despite each and every fear that threatens to hold you back.

Despite the limitations and criticisms others will place on you.

To hell with all that.

This is your life,

Your journey,

Your adventure.

And all it's asking of you is to show up for it as you are.

That's enough.

That's more than enough.

That's everything.

Now take a deep breath and repeat the following statement,

Either silently or out loud.

I am willing to show up for myself and for my life just as I am.

As we close out today's pep talk,

It bears repeating one more time.

That you are beautiful,

You are worthy,

And you are enough just as you are.

You always have been and you always will be.

Thank you so much for joining me today.

Sending you so much love.
