You will be guided to the awareness of your root chakra,

This is the first chakra,
The element of earth and it is all about your right to exist,

Today's lesson will be a grounding and healing one,
Using visualizations,
The tools of breath and bij or sound mantras.
Begin by bringing awareness to the sacred space of your root chakra.
Feel your energy being anchored beneath you now.
Breathe in deeply.
Feel your belly rise as you fill your diaphragm.
Slow exhale.
Continue this deep slow breathing.
Inhale.
And exhale.
As you ground deeply into the floor beneath you,
Bringing awareness to the space around your tailbone.
Visualize a red light here,
Emitting a healing red light from the base of your spine.
With each deep belly inhale,
Warming your whole body.
Feel this healing light being sent down your lower back to the back of your glutes,
Your thighs,
Your calves,
Your heels,
The base of your feet,
Toes,
Tops of the feet,
The shins,
The knees,
The thighs,
The hips.
Feel the body relax completely.
Deep,

Bring your attention to the base of your spine.

Create a diamond with your hands and place this over your belly,
Above your pubic bone.
Exhaling now deeply,
Emptying the belly.
Inhale deeply,
Belly rises.
Exhale,
Navel pulls back towards the spine.
Engage the sphincter.
Tightening the lower abdomen,
Engaging the base chakra.
Inhale fully.
Exhale fully.
Exhale fully.
Continue this deep breathing motion,
Breathing into the root chakra.
This is the basis of the sense of security and your safety.
This is the basis of your drive to live.
Deep inhalation.
This is the root of your well-being,
Which when restored and healed,
You will feel safe and secure.
Exhale fully.
Bring your awareness to the base of the spine,
The area between your sitting bone and your tailbone.
Visualizing a red glowing light igniting from the base.
Feel the warmth of this red color pass up your spine.
Breathe in deeply into your lower belly,
Filling the belly with warm breath,
Opening the Muladhara chakra like a beautiful red flower,
Emanating a protective,
Magnificent red light,
A light of safety that encapsulates you and surrounds you.
Breathing deeply,
You are safe,
You are secure.
Feeling the warmth from within the center of your body,
Expanding outward,
Freeing you of all negative thoughts,
Creating space for safety and confidence within your being.
You are loved,
You are wanted,
You are safe,
You have the right to be here.
You are destined for a life of love,
Connection,
Safety and happiness.
Repeating the Bhishma mantra now to calibrate and restore the root chakra,
To welcome healing positive strong foundational divine energy and allow it to course through your system.
As you repeat the Bhishma mantra,
Visualize a red ball of energy spinning clockwise in perfect motion at the base of your spine,
Connecting you to earth and creating abundance in your life,
Attracting love,
Happiness,
Confidence and a divine strength towards you now.

Feel the vibrations of the Bhishma mantra trickling through the lips,
Creating a vibration through the mind.
