Sound Bath Sessions 264: Pearlie Huen
Pearlie plays metal 'moon' bowls and recalls that ever since she first heard it, she felt a connection to them. She is a very thoughtful person when she plays her bowls with clear intentions and an open heart. We met at a spacious studio space in Sham Shui Po. It was about to rain that day. There was distant traffic and construction. I really connected with this session. I can only describe it as a Happy Sadness. Like the emotion that something has grown and become something new but also that something that was close to my heart has been let go. Maturity. There was a lot of space to reflect between the sounds. I felt there was confidence and something new. Progress. Growth. Pearlie said that it was great that I could feel the intentions she was projecting from each of the bowls. That I could receive what she expressed. Each bowl had a different intention: heart, safety, grounding, beautiful, unique.
