Hello and welcome to this gentle meditation for the sixth week of your pregnancy.
I'm Sara at Wild Honey Perinatal,
And I'm so glad you're here.
This meditation track is part of my pregnancy series.
Each week we hold space for your unique point in pregnancy,
Exploring your baby's growth and grounding into the present moment.
Through supportive affirmations and visualizations,
We quiet the outside world.
Help you tune into your body.
And nurture the bond that's already growing between you and your baby.
Today we are creating space to acknowledge the incredible quiet work happening within you.
Find a safe,
Comfortable place to rest,
Maybe curled up on the sofa,
Sitting in a chair,
Or lying in bed.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes and place your hands over your lower abdomen,
Just below your navel.
This is the first home you are providing for your baby.
This is the first home your baby has ever known.
Feel the warmth of your palms seeping through your clothes and into your skin.
Breathe in deeply.
Feeling your ribs expand.
And exhale.
Letting your jaw unclench and your tongue drop away from the roof of your mouth.
You are in the early days of a profound transition.
While the world outside may not yet see change,
Your body is already a sanctuary.
In this moment,
There is no need to rush.
No need to worry about what lies ahead.
You are exactly where you need to be.
Take a moment to visualize what's happening beneath your hands.
At six weeks pregnant,
Your baby is roughly the size of a sweet pea,
But the complexity of the life within is already staggering.
The neural tube is closing and the heart is now beating,
Often at twice the rate of your own.
Tiny buds that will become arms and legs are already forming.
The foundation for every breath,
Every movement,
And every thought is being laid down in the quiet dark.
Even if you feel tired or nauseated,
Try to hold gratitude for your body's wisdom.
It knows exactly how to knit this life together,
Cell by cell,
Without you having to guide it.
As you breathe,
Let these truths settle over you.
You can repeat those silently in your mind or out loud.
My baby is safe,
Wanted,
And deeply loved.
I am providing everything my child needs in this very moment.
I honor my need for rest and listen to the signals my body sends me.
I am growing in strength,
Alongside my baby.
I choose peace over worry.
I choose love over fear.
You Like a sweet pea in the garden,
My baby grows in the quiet,
Sacred dark.
This tiny heart is beating in rhythm with the universe.
My baby is resilient and growing exactly as they should.
I release the need to hurry.
I trust the slow,
Steady pace of life as it unfolds.
Every breath I take sends life and oxygen to my baby's heart.
My baby and I are a team,
And we are doing this together.
I am enough,
And my love is the first and greatest gift I give my child.
Imagine a soft golden light glowing between your palms and your belly.
This light represents the bond already forming between you.
Feel the connection of your shared blood,
Your shared breath,
And the miraculous rhythm of two hearts beating in one body.
You are the home and the source of this new little person.
Even now,
You are teaching your baby what it feels like to be held in peace.
Take one final deep breath,
Filling your lungs completely.
Feel the weight of your body against the chair or the floor,
Grounding you in the now.
Wiggle your fingers and gently stretch your neck.
As you open your eyes and move back into your day.
Carry the steady beat of that tiny heart within you.
You are doing the sacred work of nourishing new life.
The mother in me honors the mother in you.
Go in peace.
