Let's go on a journey inward to connect back in with our authentic self.
Start by deepening,
Lengthening and intentionally slowing the breath so that you begin to notice the chest rise and fall.
Now,
Allowing the rest of the body to feel heavy,
The parts that are touching the ground beneath you to be fully held by the earth and its supportive energy.
In this moment,
It is only you and your breath.
Now,
Placing your left hand over the heart space,
The center of the chest and gently placing the right hand on top of the left.
Making small circles over the heart space,
Anahata Chakra.
Allowing the palms of your hands to connect with your heart,
Massaging and clearing the way through all the walls that your heart puts up to protect itself.
Imagining the walls falling away and your heart expanding in its fullness and its true nature,
Love.
Allowing your palms now to rest either beside you or somewhere else on the body.
The authentic self is born out of and is love.
Feel yourself connecting with this deepest part of yourself,
The part that feels great and profound love for another.
The part that is willing to drop everything to support someone else.
Connect with the part that is grateful for this precious life and all the true infinite beauty of the natural world.
Can you feel this love becoming you?
This love is you.
Allowing all the roles you play in your life to melt away.
You are no longer parent,
Child,
Sibling,
Partner,
Employee,
Friend.
In this moment,
Allow yourself to be only true love.
And this part of you knows what it wants,
It knows how to live and it knows what matters.
And what matters most to your true authentic self in this moment?
And know that all the answers that you seek lie inside of yourself.
Holding on to this feeling of love as you silently repeat the mantra,
Aham Prima.

For you in your truest form is exactly that.

Keep repeating the mantra while feeling your love spread beyond your body.

Know that you can come back to this place inside of yourself at any time.
Your most authentic,
Highest self.
Now taking a deep breath in.
And exhaling out.
Once more,
Inhaling in.
And release.
And starting to bring your awareness back into the body.
Noticing how you feel.
Noticing any sensations in your hands and feet.
Paying attention to any sounds around you.
And before opening your eyes,
Reflect on how you can embody your most authentic self today.
What can you do,
Say or be in order to honour who you truly are?
How would your life be different if you chose to do this?
Making a silent commitment to yourself to practice authenticity in this way just for today.
