Welcome to this meditation called Ease Your Period Day 5,

Rebirth and Regeneration.

I'm Sarasena Koroche and I'll guide you through this practice today.

This meditation is part of a course called Five Things to Avoid and Five Rituals for when you have your period.

So if you enjoy this meditation and would like one for each day of your period,

As well as tap into a community of compassionate women,

You'll find this course in my courses tab.

Let's get started.

As always,

Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can sit or lie down undisturbed.

And then close your eyes if that feels safe.

And take a few deep breaths in through your nose.

Allowing your lungs to fill completely.

Hold the breath for a moment.

And then gently exhale through your mouth,

Releasing any tension you may be carrying.

Continue breathing deeply.

And bring awareness to your body.

Notice how it feels in this moment.

With each inhale,

Imagine drawing in a sense of calm and relaxation.

And with each exhale,

Let go of any stress or discomfort.

Allowing your body to sink deeper into a state of rest and eat.

And now gently shift your focus to your womb area.

The center of your body's natural cycles.

Feel the energy in this space.

And imagine it glowing softly with a warm,

Nurturing light.

This is the place where your body's powerful process of cleansing and renewal happened this week.

With each breath,

Visualize this light growing brighter,

Radiating warmth and comfort through your entire body.

Imagine this light as a symbol of renewal,

As a symbol of the natural cleansing that your body undergoes each month during menstruation.

As you breathe in,

Feel yourself drawing in new,

Revitalizing energy.

And as you breathe out,

Imagine releasing anything that no longer serves you.

Whether it's physical,

Emotional or spiritual.

Let go of any tension,

Stress or negative thoughts.

And allow them to dissolve into the earth below you.

Picture your menstrual cycle as a powerful wave of renewal.

Washing over you and carrying away the old,

The unnecessary,

The worn out.

With each breath,

Feel this wave cleansing you.

From the inside out,

Making way for new growth and fresh beginnings.

Now take a moment to honor this process of rebirth and regeneration.

Your body's natural rhythm is a source of strength,

Constantly working to maintain balance and harmony within you.

Trust in this process,

Knowing that it's a vital part of your body's intricate system of self-care.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Repeat the following affirmations,

Silently or aloud,

Allowing each one to resonate within you.

I honor my body's natural cycles and embrace the power of renewal.

I release what no longer serves me and welcome new growth.

I trust in my body's wisdom to cleanse and restore itself each month.

I am in harmony with my body's natural rhythm.

Allow these affirmations to fill you with a sense of peace and acceptance,

Knowing that each cycle is a beautiful part of your journey.

And now just enjoy this moment of deep rest and relaxation.

In your own personal inner sanctuary,

A place where you go to feel your true self,

Secure,

Grounded,

And a deep sense of peace and inner love for yourself and all of life around you.

And now bring your awareness back to your breath and just allow your body to breathe for you with no effort whatsoever.

And when you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment carrying with you the sense of renewal,

Balance,

And harmony as you move through the rest of your day,

Knowing that you are deeply connected to the powerful cycles of nature.

Thank you so much for spending this time with me today.

Again,

This meditation is part of a course called Five Things to Avoid and Five Rituals for When You Have Your Period.
