For many of us,
Living in survival mode is so familiar,
We don't even realize we're doing it.
Even when life seems to be steady.
Somewhere in the back of the mind.
There's a worry.
There's a part of us that's trying to figure everything out.
Vigilantly anticipating what's next.
Perhaps even planning for the worst.
Over time,
Many of us have forgotten what security even feels like.
Or maybe we've never had a chance to experience a true sense of safety and support.
A trust that our needs will be met.
So that we can move beyond survival.
And actually thrive.
In this practice,
You'll be gently guided to release old patterns of lack,
Scarcity,
And survival.
And reconnect with a deeper sense of safety.
Trust.
And support.
Let's begin by taking a deep breath in.
.
.
And out.
Bring your awareness into your body.
Feel the weight of your body completely supported.
By the surface below you.
Notice that under the surface you're resting on.
The earth is holding you up.
And as you soften down towards the earth a little bit more.
You might start to release some of the tension you're holding.
Feel your whole body becoming heavy and relaxed.
Imagine you could anchor your energy into the earth,
Like a tree.
Visualizing roots extending from the base of your spine.
Deep into the earth.
Effortlessly reaching down.
Grounding you.
And connecting you to the steady foundation of the Earth.
As you rest here.
You might simply listen.
And notice what arises within you as patterns of scarcity and survival strategies.
Are gently brought to your awareness.
You might notice sensations in your body.
Emotions.
Memories.
Whatever comes.
Allow it to be here.
Without judging it.
And without trying to change it.
Perhaps some of these experiences will feel familiar.
Feeling like there's never enough time.
Never enough energy.
Money.
Support.
And even when there is enough.
There may still be that fear.
That it won't last.
Like the ground could shift beneath your feet at any moment.
And you're constantly trying to stay afloat.
Wondering how you're going to make everything work.
How you're going to pay your bills.
Take a slow,
Gentle breath.
And simply notice where in your body you might feel tension or sensation.
As these themes are spoken to.
There's nothing you need to fix.
Just noticing is enough.
Maybe you feel like you always need to be doing something something productive or measurable that moves your life forward.
And a sense of guilt arises when you slow down.
Like you have to earn the right to relax.
Or telling yourself that you'll rest when everything is finally done.
Yet somehow that sense of relief you're waiting for is always just out of reach Again,
Take a slow breath.
And allow yourself to witness whatever is surfacing within you.
Perhaps you feel like you're carrying the weight of tomorrow.
Before today is even over.
Finding it difficult to fully enjoy what's here.
Your mind already focused on what's next.
Feeling like you have to keep going.
Keep striving.
Maybe even pushing past your limits and ignoring your own needs.
In an attempt to create security.
Because if you stop.
.
.
Everything might fall apart.
It might feel like the pressure is all on you.
Like you're carrying everything on your own.
Including a deep exhaustion.
Maybe you're even carrying the shame of struggling.
Or feeling like a failure.
And when you need it most,
It might be a struggle to ask for support.
And even harder to receive it.
Take one more slow breath.
Can you be gentle with yourself?
As you notice what you're feeling.
Meeting whatever is here with compassion.
Perhaps some of these patterns have been with you for a very long time.
Maybe they were learned.
Or inherited.
Quietly passed from one generation to the next.
They may have once helped you survive.
But you may have outgrown them in a different way of being.
Is emerging now so when you're ready.
You might begin to release these old patterns.
By repeating the following words.
.
.
Silently or aloud.
I release the struggle to survive.
I release the worry.
The panic.
And the fear.
That somehow I won't be okay.
Or my family won't be okay.
I release the need to have everything figured out.
So that I can feel secure.
I release the belief that I have to earn the right to rest.
I release any shame I'm carrying around my struggles.
And release all patterns of lack.
Scarcity.
Sacrifice.
Fear.
And survival.
I now release these energies into the light.
And I ask that they are fully cleared from my consciousness.
Across all time and space.
For my highest good.
And the highest good of all.
And so it is.
And it is done.
Could you imagine what it might feel like?
To no longer brace for what's next.
To soften the tension you've been holding.
To exhale.
And release the heaviness you've been carrying.
What if just for this breath?
You are already safe supported.
Nurtured.
Deeply cared for.
Just imagine what it might feel like to trust that you are always provided for.
To know that you are inherently worthy of having your needs met.
And as you reconnect with this deeper sense of security.
Perhaps you can begin to feel.
That abundance is already here.
Within you.
Around you.
There's nothing you need to chase.
Nothing you need to force.
You might simply allow yourself to receive.
More of what nourishes you.
Supports you.
And allows you to thrive.
Allowing yourself to receive exactly what you need.
As naturally as you receive your next breath.
Begin to gently deepen your breath now.
Bringing your awareness back into your body.
Feeling the surface beneath you.
.
.
And when you're ready.
Slowly open your eyes if this practice touched something within you.
You might like to return to it whenever you feel ready.
Each time you listen.
You may find that another layer is ready to be acknowledged and released.
Thank you so much for being here.
From my heart to yours.
Namaste.
