Use this meditation any time you feel disconnected from yourself, scattered, frazzled, anxious, or tired. It can also be a lovely reset and a way to return to the self at the end of a busy day, or when life is pulling you in lots of different directions. Hello beautiful soul,

Welcome to your time.

If you haven't already,

I invite you to make yourself beautifully comfortable.

Allowing yourself to completely relax,

Safe in the space that you inhabit.

And gently softening your gaze or closing down your eyes if it feels comfortable.

Letting yourself fully arrive in this present moment.

If it feels nice and if it's available to you,

I invite you to rest your hands on your chest.

Placing the hands on the heart.

Taking a beautiful breath into the body.

Breathing out,

Letting go,

Releasing everything that you no longer need to hold.

And letting the body soften as you breathe.

And this practice today is about presence.

And about being present with and for yourself.

And so as we rest gently,

Breathing into the body.

Hands on the chest,

The heart.

I invite you to say to yourself,

Out loud or internally,

Whatever feels best for you.

I'm here.

You can use your name if you wish.

If I was saying it to myself,

I might say,

I'm here,

Sarah.

I'm here with you.

Offering yourself the gift of presence.

I'm here with you.

I won't leave you.

I love you.

I offer you kindness.

Reverence.

I offer you respect.

And acceptance.

I value and appreciate you.

I'm here.

I'm here with you.

I'm just taking a few minutes to breathe and to be with yourself.

I'm just gently beginning to bring the awareness back to the breath.

I'm breathing in,

Receiving peace and calm.

Nurture.

Breathing out,

Letting the body soften and relax even more.

I'm just soaking up the beautiful feelings,

The self-connection that you've created here in this space today.

Offering yourself gratitude for the gift of the time that you've given yourself.

And if it feels nice,

You might like to begin to bring some soft and gentle movement into the body.

Perhaps wriggling the fingers or the toes.

Starting to have a little stretch as you come back to physical form.

You might begin to notice the sounds around you.

As you're ready,

If they're closed,

Your eyes might blink open safely.

Bringing your awareness fully back to physical form.

Back to the space that you're in.

And bringing that beautiful peace and calm and nurture back to the physical space that you inhabit.

Knowing that you can carry that beautiful peace and calm with you throughout the day.

Or into a deep and restful,

Restorative sleep.

I'm just taking one more beautiful conscious breath in.

Breathing in peace and calm.

Breathing out,

Grounding deeply into yourself,

Into your body.

Into this beautiful,

Beautiful peace and calm that you've created.

And you can return to this practice anytime you wish,

With or without me.
