A short loving-kindness practice for when you want the heart of it without the full sit. You'll settle in briefly, then move through the metta progression: sending goodwill to someone you love, to the people you pass without really seeing, to the ones you find difficult, to every being on the earth, and finally to yourself. That last one tends to be the hardest. It's also the point. No experience needed. If someone won't fit in your heart today, you skip them. That's allowed. Want to go deeper? There's a full 42-minute version on my profile (titled Morning Meditation) that adds breath awareness, intention setting, and focus on the third eye before the loving-kindness practice.
