This meditation can be done at any time but it's going to be especially helpful when a relationship is either ending or transitioning.
And in this meditation we're going to do a visualization allowing ourselves to both cut any strings,
Any energetic ties that we have with a person that we're transitioning that relationship with,
And also calling the energy that we shared back to ourselves,
Back to our own energetic field.
Allowing it to return to us in a purified state so that then moving forward we can either share that energy with a new person,
With the same person,
Or even keep it for ourself to sustain our other goals.
So take a moment here to get comfortable.
You can be sitting,
You can be lying down and noticing the breath.
Feeling your inhale and exhale moving through your body.
Just being aware.
How is it that you're feeling at this moment?
How is your body feeling?
How is your mind feeling?
How is your heart feeling?
Not judging what's arising,
Just observing.
With each exhale allowing that observation to just drift away,
Leaving space for something new to arise.
With each inhale bringing to mind now a relationship that's either ending or transitioning and just noticing.
When you bring that person or people to mind,
How is your body feeling?
Are there parts of the body that are feeling some certain sensations?
There might be some tension,
Some tightness,
Especially if you've already had some of those hard conversations around the transition.
You might notice lightness,
Space,
More positive emotions as well.
Just notice how those are feeling in the body.
There's a part of the body that's particularly being strongly sensational.
You can bring your hands on to that part of the body and breathe into it,
Particularly if you're noticing more negative emotions arising.
With each exhale imagine that leaving,
Leaving the body.
Some folks will visualize it as an actual black smoke leaving.
You might notice it being like tar or even scorpions,
Animals just leaving the body with the exhale.
Whatever is arising for you.
If nothing like this is arising,
That's okay.
Just notice how that part of the body slowly starts to loosen with that combo of exhale letting go and hands on the body.
Visualizing in front of you the person or people that you're doing this meditation around and just notice are there any energetic ties between you and this situation.
Especially if you're in transition or this is a new ending,
You'll probably find a couple of strings or connections of energy between the two of you and that's okay.
What we're gonna do now is we're gonna let those strings,
Those connections of energy drop away.
Each exhale allow an additional string of energy to drop away.
Exhale as another energetic connection is released,
Is let go.
And finally with the next exhale any remaining connections,
Any remaining strings is instantly released.
Your next exhale allow yourself to just release a sigh.
Feeling the whole body gets softer and releasing even more.
Shifting the focus to your inhale,
We're gonna call our energy back to us.
With each inhale,
I call my energy back to me.
Repeat this like a mantra.
With each inhale,
I call my energy back to me.
I call my energy back to me.
And with each inhale,
Feeling all of your energy returning to your circle of being.
Surrounding you,
Going into the parts of the body that need a little bit more lift.
Any energy I lent,
I gave freely or that was taken from me.
I call that energy back to me.
As this energy is returning to your body,
Visualize it returning to you as a golden light,
Purified.
With each inhale and instantly reintegrating with your own body,
Your own energy.
Because it is your energy.
Whether that energy was lent,
Given freely or taken from you.
With each inhale,
It returns again and again as golden light to reinforce your aura,
Your protection,
Your ability to connect and move through the world.
With the next repetition,
Feel all that remaining energy returning to you.
I call my energy back to me.
And then visualizing this energy completely surrounding you,
Not just surrounding you,
But infusing each part of your body.
With each beat of the heart,
Feeling that energy getting stronger.
Again,
Visualizing that energy perhaps as golden light surrounding you.
Really feeling that energetic field,
Whole,
Protective but flexible,
Open but strong.
From here,
Bringing hands to heart or into prayer and taking a moment to set an intention.
Maybe it's around this particular relationship.
Maybe it's looking even more forward for your next relationship or how you want to interact with the world moving forward.
Once you have this intention,
Repeating it to yourself a couple of times.
Each time feeling more strongly as it infuses that energetic field we created,
The body and of course the mind.
When you're ready,
You can release the hands and open up the eyes,
Returning to the space around you.
Feel free to take a moment here to journal and jot down anything that arose during the meditation,
Any sensations that arose with the visualization.
And in particular,
Your intention.
How you want to move forward with either this relationship or more broadly,
Whatever your intention.
My hope is that by calling your energy back to you,
You have the perseverance,
The energy and the ability to be more present with all the people,
All the animals and the world itself.
