Welcome to the Lotus Seed Meditation by Sarah Brook from The Space In Between.

Begin this practice by bringing your hands together and rubbing your palms backwards and forwards vigorously to create lots of heat and warmth in between your hands.

As you rub them backwards and forwards feeling your hands,

Your palms,

The energy centers in your hands,

Waking up,

Warming up.

It's as though you're creating a fire in between your hands.

Now take your hands and place them over your lower belly to your lower Dantian center.

This is a sacred,

Powerful energy center that holds the keys to your creation,

Power,

And centering on the earth.

It's also known as the womb space,

The Hara center.

Focusing on this space in the lower belly now as your anchor,

Feeling the warmth of your hands warming this space,

Warming your body.

As you feel your hands warming this center,

Bringing your breath to it as well,

Breathing deeply for a few breaths so that you can really feel your belly rising and falling with your breath as you focus here.

Imagining that you can start to see deeply into this portal.

And imagining that appearing at the center is a golden seed surrounded by water.

Imagine pouring energy out of the palms of your hands into this water and over the seed.

Keep focusing your mind and presence on this seed.

Noticing as you do so,

You bring your life force and power to it.

Under the light of your loving presence,

The seed begins to vibrate and pulse.

Under your loving gaze,

The seed begins to grow.

Feel and sense at the base of the seed,

Tiny delicate little roots beginning to sprout.

With each breath that you take,

The roots begin to grow deeper and deeper,

Thicker and stronger with every breath that you take.

The roots begin to grow downwards,

Descending through your body.

They move out and through your perineum.

They go down your legs.

They begin to move down to the soles of your feet,

Growing out of your genital area,

Your glutes.

And they expand out of your body,

Descending down towards the earth,

Growing into the earth.

The way these roots grow is intelligent and wise.

They know exactly where they're going.

Watch,

Witness and feel as your roots now penetrate down into the earth.

They move through the cooler,

Softer layers of soil and dirt and descend deeper and deeper.

After moving through the softer soil,

They now come into the denser dirt and rock.

Just feel them with each breath just going deeper,

Deeper,

Deeper,

And feeling your consciousness following them,

Anchoring as they take you deeper and deeper.

Feel as your roots move through the darkness,

As they burrow through the void space.

They move knowingly through feeling and sensing,

Heading towards where they feel love emanating.

The deeper that your roots grow,

They also extend out wide.

And as they go wide and deep,

Your whole rooting system is now becoming stronger and stronger,

Anchoring you deeper and deeper.

The deeper that these roots go,

The warmer it becomes as they begin to approach the earth's hot lava core.

They move through her volcanic layers of heat,

Liquid fire,

Feeling their immense power.

Your roots approach the center of the earth,

Approaching the very heart of mother earth,

Her beautiful crystalline heart.

Feel as your roots wrap around her heart three times,

Allowing you as they do so to deeply plug into the mother of creation,

Attuning your energy to her natural organic crystalline grid.

As this happens,

Feel her love,

Her energy starting to soak into your roots.

Your roots absorb this love and draw it up through their channels.

You might feel this as a pulsing,

Vibrating,

A tingling or something else.

And imagining now as you breathe,

That as you breathe in,

You can draw up and receive mother of creation's love through your roots,

Receiving all of the vitality,

The nourishment and the nutrients that you need to grow.

The mother of creation is an infinite loving consciousness with infinite resources of love who can provide you with anything that you need.

She wants to fully support you and to see you thrive as one of her creations.

Receive what she's gifting you now,

Drink it up,

Feel it pouring up the channels of your root system and feel this energy now flowing into your lower dantien,

Into the seed that sits at its center.

The seed soaks up all of this goodness deliciously.

And really witnessing now that this seed now has a gloriously full root system,

So solid,

Deep,

Wide and fully rooted.

There is so much power and security within this network.

Feel it.

Let your body receive it.

Watch and sense now with all of that energy and love pouring into the seed,

All that life force and nutrients,

So nutrient dense.

It fills your seed,

So much so that the seed begins to sprout from the top.

A brilliant stalk begins to grow.

Luscious thick green stem shoots up.

It grows up,

Up,

Up,

Up the length of your spine.

Feel it growing.

As it grows,

It shoots energy and vitality through your whole system.

It grows up through your solar plexus,

Past your belly,

Your spleen.

It goes up,

Up,

Up into your heart,

Your chest.

As the stem grows,

It begins to unfurl rich,

Lush,

Fertile leaves.

These leaves are luminous with emerald green light.

The stem continues to grow now all the way up,

Up,

Up into the back of your neck.

Beautiful leaves open up around your shoulders,

Your throat.

So lush,

So rich,

So fertile and alive.

Feel this vibrancy of life moving through you,

Pulsing through you,

Remembering to breathe.

The stalk keeps growing up,

Up,

Up.

It comes all the way up into your head,

Moving through your mind.

It reaches up to the very tippy top of your head.

Breathe deeply,

Feeling as that life force from the mother of creation throws up and through you now.

The energy continues to grow and move and vibrate and flow up to the very top,

The crown of your head,

At your crown chakra.

Really noticing your crown and feeling your deep connection to the heart of Mother Earth.

Feeling as this conduit of energy is drawn up and it just keeps building at your crown.

You might notice as this energy builds that your crown chakra begins to pulse and vibrate.

Feel the energy continuing to build there and noticing something now appearing here.

It's a beautiful flower bud.

And with the pressure and the building of this creative energy,

The petals on the bud begin to gracefully unfurl.

Pedal by pedal,

Slowly and gracefully.

Feel the blossoming.

Notice the colours of your petal,

Noticing the colours of your petals.

Feel these colour rays.

Are you one vibration of colour,

One ray or many?

Is notice with a curiosity and a wonder.

Feel the texture and the movement of this blooming.

Witnessing as the petals fully open.

And they reveal at the heart,

The centre of the bloom,

The most incredible lotus.

Luminous and beauty filled.

So vibrant and rich with life.

Rich with beauty.

Feel yourself as the lotus now.

As the lotus blooms,

Feeling now that all the sunlight from above can pour over you and into you pouring in through the centre,

The crown of your head.

Feel a shower of warm gold radiant light pouring over you.

Your energy system can now drink up this light.

Feel it pouring through and around you,

Fueling you,

Loving you.

The sunlight is full of the potency and the new energy that you need to grow.

There is an alchemical effect that happens as the sunlight from above meets the earth's nutrients from below and your unique coding.

This is a moment of potential,

A moment of sacred union,

A magical harmonious alignment.

Feel as the solar light moves through your mind.

It pours down your neck,

Your shoulders,

Cascading down your arms,

Your back,

Your front.

It soaks into your heart,

Filling your chest and lungs with light.

This golden warming elixir flows through the channel of your spine and pours into your belly,

Warming all of your organs,

Sending light through your blood.

It soaks into your muscles,

Going deeply into your bones and skeletal system,

Caresses your skin and every cell of your body.

The golden sunlight pours through your meridian channels,

Your energy system,

Your energy body.

The loving sunlight pours down your legs and begins to rush through your root system.

Watch as it just pours down this incredible light through your roots and into Mother Earth,

So that you can gift her this solar light,

Unifying the energies of above and below through you.

Feel and imagine now that Mother Earth's heart is filled with sunlight,

Feeling in this beautiful,

Loving union through and around you.

Feel yourself deeply connected and centered,

Being exactly where you need to be and recognizing that everything is exactly where it needs to be.

Feeling your connection to the Earth,

To the Mother of Creation,

And to the infinite,

The cosmos above,

The Sacred Father,

Being connected in unity,

In oneness,

In alignment with that which is sacred,

Pure and true.

Rest here,

Breathe here,

Knowing you deeply belong here.

You are loved,

Lovable and loving,

Full of light,

Full of the infinite,

As you are the infinite.

Feeling the universe as you are the universe,

Experiencing itself through you as you.

Remembering you have everything you need within you,

Like the lotus seed which carries its blueprint of growth.

You too hold a blueprint,

A creation seed of how you can,

Are and will grow.

You can trust in this,

Surrender to this creation pulse,

This seed within,

Knowing you don't have to force your growth,

That everything is always aligning,

Exactly as you need,

When you need,

Knowing you are fully supported with everything that you need to grow,

Exactly as nature intended.

Remembering that nature,

The Mother of Creation,

The infinite,

Wise universe,

Wants nothing more than the delight of seeing you grow and thrive.

Taking some big deep breaths and just becoming aware of your body.

Then moving your hands into prayer position at your heart,

So your left and right palms are touching.

Breathing here in this position,

As you hold your hands in this way in alignment with your heart,

It is a moment of total unification within the body.

Breathe deeply into this unity,

Allowing a moment of integration.

Take a moment of gratitude and revenance for all that is and of all that you are,

Honoring existence and the gift of life.

Just curiously noticing how you feel now within yourself,

Within your body,

Within your mind.

And when you're ready you can open your eyes and complete this practice.
