I welcome you to this meditation.
My name is Saqib and I have created this meditation in response to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
My heart goes out to the victims and their families.
It is essential to take all the precautions and measures.
However,
There is another crucial thing to do which many of us neglect.
It is to maintain the right state of mind.
Our minds create our experience.
Hence by creating a healthy and positive state of mind,
We can make it highly probable for ourselves to stay healthy and strong during such a pandemic.
So let's get together and fill ourselves,
Our loved ones and the entire world with healing energy.
I would now request you to sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
Make sure that your back is straight but not too stiff.
Now gradually close your eyes.
Feel the presence of your surroundings.
Feel the space that you are sitting in.
Feel the air touching your skin.
Feel the presence and the weight of your body.
Notice the smell in the air.
And listen to the sounds around you.
Now imagine a huge ball of golden white light in front of you,
About the size of your own body.
This ball of light is filled with loving and healing energy and has been sent to you by the universe.
Now breathe in and breathe out white light from this ball.
Let it pass through your nostrils,
Through your windpipe and into the lungs and back from your lungs to your windpipe and out through your mouth back into the ball.
Let's start then.
Breathe in white light from the ball.
Fill your lungs with the light and exhale back into the ball.
Take at least five more breaths and let this healing energy fill your nose,
Mouth,
Windpipe and lungs.
Now breathe in white light from the ball.
And now the light ball has disappeared but beams of golden white light are coming down from the sky and reaching the top of your head.
Imagine these beams.
The healing light is now entering your head and providing its soothing energy.
So feel your head relaxing.
Now feel the light filling your face and feel your face relaxing.
Now feel the light filling your neck and feel your neck relaxing.
Feel the light filling your shoulders and feel your shoulders relaxing.
Feel the light filling your chest and your arms and feel your chest and arms relaxing.
Feel the light filling your abdomen and your hands and feel your abdomen and hands relaxing.
Feel the light filling your pelvis and hips and feel your pelvis and hips relaxing.
Feel the light filling your thighs and feel your thighs relaxing.
Feel it filling your knees and feel your knees relaxing.
The light is now filling your calves and feel your calves relaxing.
And finally the light is filling your feet and feel your feet relaxing.
And now you are totally immersed in the beams of light.
They are surrounding your body.
Let's now send this healing light to our loved ones and to the entire world.
So imagine your loved ones standing in front of you together.
Now breathe in white light from the beams of light that are surrounding your body.
And as you exhale,
Exhale the white light onto your loved ones.
Do this at least three times.
And now let's send this healing light to our loved ones and to the entire world.
Now imagine as if the whole planet earth is in front of you and you are watching the planet from space.
Repeat the process of inhaling and exhaling light onto the entire planet.
And now let's send this healing light to our loved ones and to the entire world.
And now let's be thankful to the universe.
Let's thank the universe as if it has already healed the entire planet.
I would be saying the words of gratitude three times.
And you can repeat after me silently in your heart.

And now bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Feel the presence of your body and listen to the sounds around you.
