We all want to manifest something or the other: wealth, health, relationships, career, house, etc. The question is, why do we want all these things? Most of us have such desires so that we can feel happy. But what if I tell you that happiness can be directly accessed within? In this meditation, Saqib will guide you to become happy first, so that you become a magnet that attracts to itself all that it desires!

Hi,

This is Saqib and I am your meditation guide for today's daily insight.

Today we will be manifesting happiness and let me start by giving you a brief on this topic because it is better to understand the technique first so that the meditation is more effective.

Happiness is not something that is out there,

Something external to us,

Something that we have to grab and something that is not available to us.

Happiness is within us.

However,

For many of us,

It is clouded by fear and confusion.

Manifesting happiness into our lives hence depends upon how effectively we tap into this happiness that is always present within us and clear the clouds of fear and confusion.

For this,

We will follow the be-do-have model of manifestation.

Let me explain what is this be-do-have model.

In today's time,

Most of us have a very ineffective model of trying to be happy.

We first want to have resources or things,

Then we will do what we like to do and then we will be happy.

So the model that we currently follow is have-do-be.

Let's reverse this and see how it works for us.

Let's follow a be-do-have model.

We will first be happy,

Then do the action or work and then have the things we desire.

Now you might ask that how can I be happy first?

And this is where our today's practice of visualization kicks in.

Let me explain how visualization helps in effective manifestation.

Imagine a situation in which everything you thought or visualized gets instantly manifested.

For example,

You think of an elephant and boom,

An elephant appears in front of you.

Well,

This is what is exactly happening in this world.

Everything we think is getting manifested.

However,

The only difference is that the result or outcome is separated from us by time and is occurring in the future.

In actuality,

Time is just an illusion and is a relative even as per Albert Einstein.

Everything you think or visualize is happening now.

So let's be that happiness now and manifest it in the future.

I would now request you to sit in a comfortable position with your back straight.

Now gradually close your eyes.

Feel the presence of your surroundings.

The air in your room.

The smell in the air.

The air on your skin.

And listen to the sounds around you.

Let's start by setting our sankalpa,

Our intention for manifesting happiness.

Sankalpa is a powerful tool of manifestation as it is a declaration to the universe of what you desire.

It is always better to desire the end feeling of being happy or at peace as by desiring the end result or feeling,

Everything that will make you happy will automatically come to you.

And if you desire an intermediate goal that will ultimately bring you happiness,

You are free to set your sankalpa for that as well.

Now in your heart say this three times.

I desire to followed by what you desire.

For example,

I desire to be at peace and stay happy for my entire life.

Go ahead and state your sankalpa three times.

Now let's be thankful to the universe or God or collective consciousness,

Whatever you believe in.

Be thankful for whatever you wish to be and say that gratitude prayer in your heart.

Start by saying,

I thank you universe or I thank you God.

I will be silent for a couple of minutes while you say your gratitude prayer.

Bring your attention to your breathing now.

Take a few deep breaths,

Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth and let your awareness follow your breath wherever it goes.

I will be breathing with you so you can synchronize your breathing with me if you wish.

Let's start.

Notice if there are any thoughts in your mind right now.

Imagine these thoughts as bubbles rising in front of you with each thought representing one bubble.

In your imagination,

Burst or pop these bubbles of thought one by one with a slight touch of your finger,

Just in your imagination.

Now that you have cleared your mind,

It's time to manifest.

Think of a person or an event in the past that made you or makes you really happy,

That fills you with love.

It might be someone close or it might be some amazing event in the past that transformed your life.

Feel that feeling of joy and bliss in your body.

Feel it in every part of your body.

Now put your hand on your chest and feel the love for this person or event in your heart.

You can now place your hand back where it was and now think of the sankalpa you made at the beginning of this meditation.

Think of that desired state that you want to be in the future that will bring you happiness.

How will this situation look like?

What will you be doing?

Will you be having a bright smile on your face?

Will there be anyone else with you in that situation?

Where will you be?

Imagine and see it.

What will be the surroundings like?

What will you be wearing?

See every detail of that situation.

Imagine that there is a knob or a button near your hand which you can rotate or press and you can increase the brightness and colour of the scene that you are visualising.

Do that and make it more realistic.

Make it come alive.

And now bring in your other senses and fully experience this situation.

Listen to the sounds that you will hear in this situation.

Is somebody saying words of love to you?

Listen to it.

Feel the sense of touch if there is any in this situation.

Is somebody shaking your hand or hugging you?

Feel it.

Feel that touch in your body.

And now experience the bliss and joy of this moment completely.

Feel it in your body.

Feel your body filling up with happiness and bring that smile to your face.

Bathe in this feeling of happiness.

Now bring back your attention to your breathing.

Bring your awareness to your surroundings.

The air in your room.

The smell in the air.

The air on your skin.

And listen to the sounds around you.

And now wiggle your toes and move your fingers and gradually open your eyes.

Now that you are in a state of being,

Do your daily activities as if you have already achieved your desired outcome and finally you will have things that will bring you absolute bliss and joy.

The key here is to already be in that happy state and feel the bliss and joy as if what you have desired for has already been fulfilled.

Remember,

Time is just an illusion and by being happy in the present moment,

You are making it certain for your desires to come true in the future.

However,

Forget about the results and trust the universe that whatever is right for you,

The universe will bring it to you.

As I said before,

By even simply declaring your sankalpa or intention,

You are making the universe ready to support you in achieving your desires.

So go ahead and declare your sankalpa in the discussion forum of this classroom.
