Today I want to speak about being in love.
We all have this ability to love a person in particular and together choosing to turn that connection into a short or a long-term significant intimate relationship.
In our society we tend to extra romanticize this type of bond between two people by affirming things like I am yours and you are mine or without you I can't leave or you are my star,
My moon or my sunshine.
Little by little without even realizing we no longer remember who we were before meeting this new being and we start believing that we need this person in order to thrive in this world.
This person seems to be the love of our lives even if we've labeled several other people with the exact same words and nobody can take that belief away from us because we are finally happy and everybody can see how happy we are.
This is what we call falling in love.
Falling that's what happens when we forget about who we are,
We fall and we lose ourselves.
When this happens it is a matter of time until we feel disappointed,
Bored,
Frustrated or even worse hurt and miserable depending on the basis of that particular connection.
We get caught in the idea of needing someone to be happy or to fulfill our own needs.
It is all in our minds and allowing this to go further may very well pull us away from our true nature and lead us to a place where only fear is in control.
Falling in love is actually a trap in disguise because what it means is falling in fear.
We may believe in the idea of falling in love like some sort of leap of faith in which we trust this new love that comes into our lives and everything suddenly becomes perfect.
This may sound amazing to our ears but in fact what we are saying is that we are totally giving ourselves to someone who from now on has this huge responsibility to please us in every way and all the time because we have just called them our sunshine and this is the big trap.
Our sunshine is never someone else.
Our sunshine is us.
We are the sunshine and we shine because we are part of Source which is the real sun.
What a prison would be if others would be in charge of our happiness and what a burden would be if we would be in charge of other people's happiness.
So is it possible to have a deep romantic connection with someone without falling?
Yes,
Instead of falling in fear we rise in love.
This means that we make sure that we connect to Source,
To us as higher consciousness and that we remain conscious of who we are and of what we want.
We love ourselves first unconditionally and therefore we are able to love the other person from a place of pure love as well instead of a place of fear.
To really love someone means that we accept and respect the fact that they are as free as we are and that we can only be truly happy in that pure state of freedom,
Freedom of choosing,
Freedom of being.
And we think but if I am free and the other person is free it means that we will do whatever we want without caring about each other.
It is the opposite because we really love and because we know how to love we create a bond of joy,
Of understanding and of compassion like nothing else.
It is like a constant soft dance that flows between two people who surrender to the sound of the harmonious and celestial melody of the universe.
This is a process for life of course because we are not always on the state of bliss.
Most of us are not even sure of what that is but it is something that we must keep in our hearts and to have in mind in order to maintain healthy connections.
Once we become conscious of this and once we start applying it in our lives,
I mean really applying it,
We then feel such a difference that we will do everything we can to keep ourselves in that state.
So today I am here to invite you to a place where true love exists and where it is very much possible,
A place where people are free and yet they choose to open their heart and to deeply love someone,
To be together and to create a solid foundation in which both shine bright under the light of Source.
This is rising in love,
Rising to a higher frequency where love is all that is.
