Welcome to this heart activation breathing exercise.

I want you to sit somewhere comfortable,

Preferably with headphones,

And put your phone on do not disturb so you are not distracted throughout this exercise.

Make yourself comfortable and fidget until you are settled and when you are ready close down your eyes.

When your eyes are closed focus your eyes behind your lids on where the bridge of your nose would be.

Listen to my voice as I guide you through this exercise.

Take your right hand and place it on your chest slightly to the left hand side so that it is covering your heart.

As you do this start to take a slightly deeper breath than you would normally.

Do this through your nose.

Don't breathe in so deeply it feels forced or encourages any feelings of anxiety.

Breathe in for 2 and out for 4.

You may find your breathing in and out is longer and this is absolutely fine.

Get into a natural rhythm for you and your body.

As you take a breath in I want you to physically feel your breath go through your heart.

Physically feel that breath out.

As you breathe you will find you can really feel your breath moving through your heart.

Feel that breath.

Physically feel it.

Breathe in through your heart.

Breathe out through your heart.

Breathe in through your heart.

And out through your heart.

Breathe in through your heart.

And out through your heart.

As you continue on your own rhythm just continue to listen to the sounds of my voice.

As you take in each breath imagine calming white light filling your body.

Feel it reaching into every muscle,

Every knot,

Every ligament,

Every tendon and feel everything starting to soften and to relax.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your neck loosen.

Let your back soften.

Let your muscles in your face relax.

Your lips may even part slightly as your jaw slackens.

Let all your muscles loosen and relax.

With every breath out imagine black light is leaving your body as you let go of your worries.

The things that are on your mind and even the subconscious worries of the world.

With every breath in let that relaxing white light filter into every part of your body.

From the tips of your fingers to the tips of your toes.

With every breath out let go of all your stresses.

All the tension is leaving your body and evaporating.

As you are experiencing this heart activation exercise the electrical pulses of your heart are coming into alignment with your brain waves.

This is scientifically proven to work within just 2 to 3 minutes.

Our brain is several thousand years old.

A system once designed to keep us safe from danger from predators.

Our heart knows the truth.

Our heart thinks only from a place of truth.

Whereas our brain thinks from a place of logic.

A place of fear.

Continue to breathe in and out.

Cast your mind back to the trouble that brought you to this exercise today.

Think of that worry and think to yourself.

All I need to know about the situation is and finish the sentence.

Do that now.

I really need to know about the situation is and finish the sentence.

When our heart and mind work together they are incredibly powerful.

Now they are connected I want you to think of one thing that you are grateful for.

It doesn't need to be anything big.

It can simply be that you are grateful you woke up this morning as many people didn't.

Perhaps you are grateful for being able to experience this meditation.

Perhaps you are grateful for your home,

For the last meal you ate,

The love of your family or the love of your friends.

What could you be grateful for in your life right now?

For example,

I am grateful for the love of my family and for my friends.

For waking up this morning when many people didn't.

And for the experiences I have gone through and the knowledge I have gained that means that I am able to help others.

Think of a moment or a coincidence in your life that you can be grateful for.

What would that be?

Perhaps somebody reached out to you on Instagram.

Or maybe you bumped into somebody in the street.

What is that coincidence and how are you grateful for it?

Whilst you continue with your breathing I want you to take your hand away from your heart.

Don't worry if you already have that's absolutely fine.

And slowly bring your awareness back into your body.

Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.

Slowly open your eyes and bring your awareness back into the space in which you are in.

It could be your living room,

Your office,

A hotel room or even perhaps you are lying in the bath.

As you slowly open your eyes let them adjust to the light and have a look around your space.

What is the first thing that you have noticed?

Second thing.

The third.

Allow your awareness of the space to return as you come back.

Shuffle around and allow yourself to be fully present and ready to continue on with your day.

Thank you so much for allowing me to guide you through this heart activation exercise.

Have a wonderful day.

Namaste.

Excellent. Loved your accent but overall I enjoyed this meditation. I liked the different parts from breathing, light and gratitude. It was a nice way to end.
