
Breathwork For Healing Your Anxiety
A guided breathwork practice that will help alleviate the feeling of being overwhelmed and anxious by releasing built-up anxiety in your body and mind, and bringing you back to a state of peace and presence.

Hello love and welcome to your pause breathwork audio for healing anxiety through breathwork.
It's so interesting.
I fought this process for so long and I tried so hard to think my way out of my anxiety,
To think my way out of the sensation that felt so debilitating and so heavy in my system.
I always had this story that transformation had to be hard.
If it was going to work,
It had to be hard.
I think that's the high achiever in me that really believes in so many areas that no pain,
No gain.
Breathwork taught me the essence of softness and how we can have incredible results and it doesn't have to be so difficult.
I always say I am so much smarter when I don't use my brain.
And it's so true,
Especially when it comes to transformation.
True sustainable transformation really happens at that intersection between pain and love.
When we feel pain in our bodies,
When we feel pain in our systems,
And we choose to love it rather than fight it.
Rather than fight it and force it,
We choose to come into our bodies and to just love.
Breathwork for me was the most important component in healing the anxiety that I struggled with for so long.
I was so identified with it.
I always identified myself as an anxious person.
I'd say,
I am anxious and I'd sort of wear that like a badge of honor until I realized anxiety was just giving me information.
It was giving me data.
It was communicating to me what was out of alignment.
When we are connected to our truth,
We don't have anxiety.
Anxiety is a function of us being out of alignment,
A function of us not being connected to our bodies.
It's a function of us living in fear and scarcity up in our minds.
So through breathwork,
Through this practice,
We get to just dive into our system so much deeper,
Love the part of us that feels in pain,
Love the part of us that's struggling so that we can transcend and become the most authentic version of who we are.
Before we get started,
Please make sure you have read the FAQ about pause breathwork so you know what to anticipate in this journey.
You are completely safe.
Breathwork is so incredibly safe.
We are simply just using our breath and you are in control the entire time.
But please check out what may happen on a physical level and emotional level just to prepare yourself for what is to come.
And again,
You are so safe.
So I want you to find yourself in a nice comfortable position lying down on either your bed or a yoga mat on the floor.
Feet and legs stretched out,
Bringing your arms to your side,
Palms facing up,
Keeping your eyes open,
And just for a moment,
Just observe what's happening in your body.
Where do you feel tension?
Where do you feel tightness?
Just take a moment with me and just observe what's going on.
Remember,
You are just the observer of these sensations.
You don't need to identify with them.
I changed my story from I am anxious to I experience anxiety,
Which gave me space between the emotion and my story,
The emotion and my true self.
Just notice,
Just softly notice what is going on.
Just surrender and let yourself be in this moment.
The breath pattern we will do together is two breaths in,
One breath out.
So we're sucking the air into our bellies,
Up into our chest,
And then all the air is released out our mouth.
So it sounds like this.
The most important thing is to just keep breathing.

Allow the breath to fully flow and circulate in your body.
Releasing all that does not belong.
Releasing all that does not belong.
So let's just start off by taking some normal breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
The mantra we will be using through this practice is my natural state is love and light.
My natural state is love and light.
That is the truth.
When we are in anxiety,
We are out of our essence.
We are living from our conditioning,
Our programming.
It's not our true self.
All you are is love and light.
My true self is love and light.
Just taking a moment,
Bringing your hands up to your heart for just a moment and repeating silently to yourself,
Thank you.
I love you.
Thank you.

I love you.
And just feel how you soften when you speak so kindly to yourself.
Notice how you soften.
Now bringing your hands down to your side,
Closing your eyes,
Breathing out and starting with your breath.
You are safe to breathe,
To feel,
To allow,
To surrender.
You are safe to be.
You are safe.
You are safe.
You are safe.
I am right here with you,
Guiding you along.
You are safe to be in your body and allow all that wants to come through.
All you are is light and love.
You are so held.
You are so supported.
You are so worthy of everything you desire,
Everything you want.
Just allow yourself to feel the openness,
The openness of your heart,
Of your mind,
Feeling life force coming through you,
Healing and touching and feeling all of the places that feel tight.
You are so lovable.
You are so worthy.
You are so loved.
You are so loved.

Anxiety is not your story anymore.
You get to let that go,
Release that out through the breath.

You do not own that story.
It does not own you.
You are far more magnificent,
Far stronger.

Breathe that in.
Allow that to come into your body.
Open up your system.

All of the anxiety.

It's been in your body for years and years.
It's time to let go.

When you're ready,
Coming back to your normal breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Releasing,
Allowing,
Surrendering and being exactly where you're at.
Feel your heart open.
Take a moment and just be so grateful for your journey.
So grateful for this time.
Feel how alive you feel in your body.
You are so loved.
You are so held.
Rolling over to one side,
Giving yourself a nice squeeze.
Saying to yourself,
I love you.

Silently to yourself.
Just feeling what that feels like.
And when you're ready,
Slowly making your way up,
Sitting cross-legged,
Bringing your hands up to your heart.
Feeling so much ease,
So much light and so much love to fill your body,
Knowing that this is your natural state.
Struggle is just learn behavior.
This is your true self.
This place right here.
Don't ever forget who you are amongst the noise of the world.
The voice always exists.
The voice of truth,
The voice of love,
The voice of light.
It is always within you.
You just need to listen.
Pay attention.
