Take a time out and tune in to the elements and astrological energies within yourself.

These meditations will take you on a journey to align with the four elements and twelve zodiac signs naturally expressing themselves every day within each and every one of us.

Let's harness this astrological energy within to live a fuller,

Aligned life.

Tuning in to the water sign of Cancer.

This is the first of three water signs.

It is cardinal in energy,

Ruled by the moon,

Aligned with the element of water,

And a source of your inner maternal energy.

To begin,

Settle in.

Find a comfortable position,

Whether seated or lying down,

And gently close your eyes.

Begin by taking a few deep breaths,

Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling softly through your mouth.

Allow this breath to guide you into a state of relaxation,

Letting go of any tension or stress.

This is a meditation for Cancer energy.

Welcome to this meditation focused on nurturing your inner maternal energy.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Imagine a warm,

Gentle light surrounding you.

This light is the embodiment of the nurturing maternal energy within yourself.

Feel the energy of softness through relaxing your physical body.

Comfort yourself by feeling full of love.

Envision this light as a warm embrace.

Begin to feel your inner loving mother energy become part of you.

Embrace the soothing presence of your inner divine mother.

Whether you are male or female in this lifetime,

We all have an inner maternal energy.

Let's harness this energy,

Filling our vessel with love,

With softness,

With fresh cleansing breaths.

Know you are safe in the presence of her energy here.

No matter what experience you have of this energy in the past,

Here in the present moment,

Feel safe,

Secure,

Nurtured,

And loved.

Feel the energy of peace and unconditional love throughout your whole body.

And then relax into this energy mind,

Body,

And soul so that you can breathe and be present.

Now shift your awareness to your heart center.

Picture a soft glowing light emanating from this space,

Expanding with each breath you take.

See this glowing light take on the color green.

Allow this green radiant energy to grow and spread warmth throughout your entire being.

Touching every cell,

Awakening every part of you into this inner maternal energy where you are safe,

Secure,

And loved.

As you bask in this nurturing green glowing light,

Repeat these affirmations silently or aloud.

I am deserving of love and care.

I am a source of nurturing energy.

I embrace myself with kindness and compassion.

Take a few deep breaths into these affirmations and settle them into your heart space.

When you feel ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.

Carry this nurturing maternal energy with you throughout your day,

Knowing that you have the power to both give and receive love,

To feel nurtured and embraced.

Call on these affirmations as a reminder of your true source of maternal energy.

Remember nurturing yourself is an essential part of being able to share and nurture others.

Begin to shift your awareness back to your breath in this present moment.

Sipping in all the oxygen you can into your lungs.

Holding your breath at the top,

Taking in one more sip of air,

And then exhaling out of the mouth all the toxins,

Bad attitudes,

And stress in your life.

Let it go.

Feel your body,

Mind,

And spirit in this moment.

Let yourself be present.

Now add some gentle movement back to your body.

Feel yourself wake up.

Open the eyes if they are closed.

Look around and arrive.

Now take one more breath to seal this practice with me.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Smile.
