Hello loves.

Welcome to my heart.

This is my reading of a piece I wrote called Awakening following my very intense awakening experience. This track may be triggering or confronting to some, as it speaks about the truth of who we are, including all of our unowned collective shadows.

I write poetry to make sense of how I feel, or what I experience, as I make my way through this life.

What my poetry means to me may be very different from what it means to you. Such is the beauty of art.

I hope it touches you, in the way you need to be touched, in this very moment.

No one talks about the pain of knowing the truth.

Of the bliss,

Love,

Peace,

And awe,

They wax lyrical.

And of those states,

They speak the truth.

But who speaks of the anguish and grief?

The visceral embodiment of knowing,

I am the rapist,

The thief,

The murderer,

The paedophile,

And the sadist.

Of knowing,

I am Jesus,

But I am also Judas,

The victim,

The perpetrator,

And the rescuer.

Who speaks to that?

Who speaks of being thrown into the void of nothing?

Of the loneliness of experiencing the truth?

Of knowing that there is no one and no thing except for you,

The one that I am.
