Now look around you and name five things that you can see.
Now what are four things that you can feel around you?
And now notice three things that you can hear.
Now press your feet into the ground.
Feel your feet on the ground.
Press your hands together,
Clench your hands or press against a wall.
Feel your feet,
Feel your hands.
Feel your hands,
Feel your hands.
If you are near a tap,
Run cold water on your hands and splash your face.
You are here,
You are safe.
And now breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Bringing your awareness back into your body and returning to the breathing,
Taking a deep breath in and making the exhale longer than the inhale.
