This is for February 2026.
As I was shuffling the cards,
The Two of Swords popped out and I just looked at it while it was laying on the ground and realized how perfect this card is for this month.
This month is really interesting because we have the ending of the Year of the Snake,
Which has been intense for all of 2025 and carried us into 2026.
But February 17th marks the Year of the Fire Horse.
This is significant because we have this month where we have one sign and it moves into the next,
The Snake into the Fire Horse.
The Two of Swords,
If you were to look at this card,
Generally shows a figure that's holding on to two swords and they are blinded.
They have a scarf around their eyes.
The true meaning of this card usually is about taking away one of our senses so that we can actually step into stillness and make a clear decision.
Meaning,
If we close our eyes,
We can really tune inward and make decisions from here.
This month,
Our decisions,
Our choices,
Our paths are meant to be coming from inward versus from pressure from what we see and what we think we should do.
What's most interesting is as this card was laying on the ground and I'm looking at it,
I had this big sense that the first part of February,
We were to have that blinder on.
We are to try to move without really seeing where we're going.
But by mid-February,
February 17th to be exact,
We are going to take off that scarf,
Open our eyes and move from there.
There we can actually fully integrate all the things and move forward.
So the beginning part of this month,
Pause long enough to hear your own truth and then you can decide clearly.
The answer is not going to be external and our logic alone is not going to solve it and forcing it is only going to create more confusion.
So this card is asking,
Be still before making the choice.
You're not avoiding anything.
You are just pausing.
I have this picture,
This image of all of us entering February with the scarf around our eyes because we're in the year of the snake.
But like I said in the mid-February,
That shedding ends.
We shed the last bit of that dead skin off the tail and at the same time,
We are removing this scarf off our eyes and entering the firehorse.
If at the beginning of this month you're feeling angsty,
You want to make decisions,
Just know that's the energy of the firehorse coming in but we're not ready to quite use it yet.
So be patient,
Bring calmness into your world,
Do anything you need to bring energy levels down and just hold on because answers are going to reveal themselves by mid-February.
So we're in for a very interesting month,
Almost like a duality of energies from the first part to the last part.
