Welcome to your five minute chakra balancing meditation.
Begin in a place where you can be as comfortable as you can be.
You can be lying down,
You can be seated,
You can be reclining,
Anything that brings you comfort.
And once you're there,
Gently close your eyes and notice your breathing.
As we go through our meditation,
If your mind wanders,
Bring it back to your breath.
That is what will bring you back to the present moment.
We have seven chakras.
They all start from the base of our spine and go all the way to the top of our crown.
The first one is called our root chakra,
Known as a mula dharha.
Its color is red.
This is where we feel grounded and connected to our earth.
Next is our sacral chakra.
It's known as a swadhisthana.
Its color is orange and this is where new beginnings happen.
Traveling up to our solar plexus is the mani pura.
Its color is a vibrant yellow and transformation is what this is all about.
Moving on up to our heart chakra,
This is our anahata.
Its color is green and this is where our forgiveness and compassion and love lives.
Traveling to our throat,
We have our vishuddha.
Its color is light blue and this is our expression.
Our third eye is our next chakra.
It's called the agnia.
Its color is purple and this is where intuition lives.
At the top of our crown lives the sahasarara.
Its color is ultraviolet white and this is our connection to all source.
Pick whichever color most resonated with you.
Feel free to put your hands on that chakra and while you breathe,
Envision a ball of this color becoming brighter and warmer and bigger.
I will let you know when our time is up.
For now,
Keep your eyes closed,
Relax and let yourself bring your chakras in alignment.
Appreciate it.
Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
Move your shoulders.
Begin to open your eyes and together we will take a deep breath in and fully exhale.
Again deep breath in,
Full exhale.
Bring our hands to our heart,
I bow to you,
I bow to this moment in time and thank you for sharing your meditation with me.
