Even though we can feel back pain and period pain on a physical level,
On an energetic level there's usually a lot of stuck,
Stagnant energy in the back,
Pelvis and uterus.
So today's practice is great to move the energy down and out of your system.
You can practice this meditation every day when you are on your period or anytime you need back pain relief.
This practice works even if you don't currently have your period.
But if you do have your period,
Make sure that you wear a pad and not a tampon.
Because tampons usually block the energetic flow your body is trying to release naturally down and out.
Now gently closing your eyes or you can keep them open with a soft gaze,
It's up to you.
Letting the music soften your body.
Release the grip on the shoulders,
Jaw,
Belly.
Take a deep breath in and feel your belly rise.
Really letting your belly expand.
Don't worry,
No one is watching.
Let go of any grip.
And on your next exhale,
Feeling your whole body completely relax.
Good.
Now imagine being in a warm,
Humid country.
Perhaps a tropical forest.
And the sun is warming your skin from head to toe.
Sensing the warmth on your skin instantly eases any kind of aches,
Pain and tension in your whole body.
Breathe into it.
Just a few meters away,
There is a waterfall.
You gently walk towards it.
You stand under the waterfall and let it massage your shoulders.
You can feel the water's warm sensation as it runs down your back.
Feel the warm massage it provides,
Especially as the water falls on your lower back.
And then it runs down the back of your legs,
Warming up your whole back body.
Now sending these words of love and forgiveness to your body.
I love you.
Thank you.
I'm sorry.
I forgive you.
Good.
Now you gently step away from this luxurious waterfall.
And as you do so,
The sound of the waterfall slowly fades away.
Now we can slowly wake up the body by taking a deep breath.
Taking all the time you need.
To get the best out of this practice,
I would suggest taking a shower sometime today and letting the warm water run down your back.
Letting the warm water run down your back and bringing awareness to your lower back especially.
Thank you so much for letting me be your guide for this practice.
Namaste.
