So today we're going to continue the theme that we have been looking at which is examining the deep connections between our chakras.
The chakras can really easily be placed in pairs and today we're going to look at the bond between the sacral and throat chakra which runs so deep.
I was once told that when we are just a mere zygote that there are cells within it that separate to become the jaw and the hips and there is a truth in this.
The jaw and hip bones do in fact derive from our mesenchymal stem cells.
But the energetic connection between these two chakras is undeniable.
The sacral holds our emotions,
Creativity and joy whilst the throat empowers us to express these feelings authentically.
The sacral holds our emotions but expressing our emotions clearly can sometimes be a challenge.
So when we process our emotions through the heart's wisdom we can begin to share them without blame or shame thus strengthening both energy centres.
Understanding these two energy centres is so important in terms of our expression,
Our authenticity and really knowing ourselves deeply,
Understanding our emotions and being able to express them.
So let's begin.
Find a comfortable position and if you can be sitting tall with your spine aligned.
Let your hands rest on your lap or your knees,
Your palms open to receive.
Gently close your eyes and begin to tune in to your soft steady breath.
Inhale deeply into your belly,
Feel the breath expanding into the area of the sacral chakra just beneath the belly button.
You can hold that breath gently feeling the energy settle and exhale slowly imagining tension melting away.
Find a soft deep rhythm that feels good and as you settle into this rhythm imagine that each inhale is drawing an energy upwards from the sacral chakra,
Up through to the heart and up to the throat and each exhale visualise that connection flowing back downward forming a gentle loop.
Feel into this rhythm of your breath.
So bring your attention to your sacral chakra.
Picture a glowing beautiful sunset orange orb radiating warmth and fluidity.
Here at the Svadhisthana is your centre of emotions,
Creativity and sensuality.
This is where your emotions live,
Joy,
Sadness,
Fear,
Excitement.
Each feeling is valid offering messages and opportunities for growth.
Take a moment to honour whatever emotions arise without judgement.
Let's just use an affirmation or two.
To centre your attention at the sacral chakra.
I embrace and honour my emotions as a source of wisdom.

My creativity and emotions flow freely and without resistance.

And as you continue to breathe feel the orange energy grow stronger representing your openness to feel and process emotions.
Now gently shift your focus into your heart centre.
The heart chakra is the bridge between your lower and upper chakras.
Imagine a soft emerald green light glowing in your chest and watch as the orange energy of your sacral chakra rises to your heart where emotions can be softened,
Processed and infused with compassion.
The heart chakra acts as a filter transforming raw emotions into feelings expressed with love and authenticity.
The heart helps us to release blame or shame.
So that our truth can flow with kindness and clarity.
Affirm this by saying silently to yourself,
I allow my heart to guide my emotions with compassion and understanding.
Now gently draw your awareness up into your throat chakra and at the vishuddha chakra visualise a beautiful turquoise blue orb radiating light and clarity.
Imagine the refined heart guided energy from the sacral rising into this space within the throat ready to be shared as authentic empowering expression.
The throat chakra gives voice to your inner emotions,
Your creativity and your truth.
It allows you to express yourself without fear,
Blame or judgement.
Your words carry the energy of your heart and sacral forming a bridge between feeling and sharing.
So again let's use a couple of affirmations here for the throat chakra.

So bring yourself back to this beautiful orange light of the sacral chakra and with an inhalation see it rising upward along your spine passing through the heart's soft green light and reaching the blue light of the throat.
See these colours merging,
Swirling together in harmony forming a vibrant flow of energy that connects your emotions,
Compassion and expression.
Reflect on how feeling your emotions fully strengthens your ability to express them.
Likewise speaking your truth reinforces your emotional authenticity.
Allow these two chakras to connect,
To strengthen each other.
Maybe visualising this beautiful light flowing in a figure eight crossing over at the heart,
Reaching down to the sacral,
Back through the heart,
Up to the throat,
Back down through the heart,
Down to the sacral and onwards in a beautiful infinite flowing stream of light and energy.
So let's affirm these connections.

Bring a small amount of movement back to your fingers and when you feel ready open your eyes feeling ready,
Empowered to feel,
Process and share your emotions with clarity and love.
