This meditation is to help you release,
Heal,
And let go of anything weighing on you.
Anything worrying you or holding you back.
So first,
Find a comfortable place to be either seated or lying down,
Giving yourself grace or showing up and caring for yourself in this moment.
Whether you are seated with support for a straight spine or lying down,
Place your palms up to receiving energy today.
Gently let your eyes drift to close and begin to notice your breath without trying to change it.
Does it feel warm or cool?
Is it coming in through your mouth or nose?
Noticing with love.
Now focusing your attention on your body.
Take note of any places you might be holding on tightly with tension and begin to direct your breath to those areas.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Feeling your body releasing the tension.
Breathing in and letting your shoulders melt down your back.
Breathing in and letting your jaw soften.
And on your next breath,
Release any mental chatter for just a few minutes.
On the next deep breath,
Let your mind and body be completely free.
If it helps to keep your breath going,
You could count internally to four or five on the inhale and keep it equal on the exhale.
Or you can simply breathe evenly in and out for this practice.
Let this even breath calm your mind and body as you fill your cells with life-giving oxygen.
And as you exhale,
You release and let go carbon dioxide and all of the energies that no longer serve you.
And now let's go a little deeper into your imagination.
Take a moment to remember a favorite place.
It could be someplace you visited on a vacation or a place you liked when you were younger.
Pick the one that comes to mind with the most visual and sensory details.
Bringing that fully into your awareness now.
Imagine that you are there right now.
It is a perfect day.
Tapping into your senses.
What do you see?
Is it beach,
Mountain,
Rolling hills?
Is it colors,
Creatures?
Breathing that all in as you visualize what you see in your perfect place.
What do you hear?
Is it the sounds of songbirds,
Seabirds,
Crows?
Is it the sound of a music that you love?
Or some other sound of the wind or the ocean?
Bringing in that sense of sound and what you hear.
Now turning your attention to what do you smell?
Is it evergreen trees,
Magnolia flowers,
Or roses?
Or maybe it's your favorite food cooking for a wonderful meal in your favorite place.
Bringing in that element of smell invigorating your perfect place.
Is there a taste?
Perhaps you have your favorite beverage in hand or you're tasting that favorite meal or something exotic,
A fruit that you can't normally get.
But there it is in your perfect place.
What do you taste?
And next,
What do you touch?
Is there sand or soft grass under your feet and between your toes?
Do you feel drops of water,
Splashing or a gentle rain?
Or is it the touch of a hand or a loved one?
Notice how all of these senses bring in every aspect of this perfect place for you.
Noticing how your heart feels in this perfect place.
Your senses filling you up with every detail.
Oxygen intake through your breath,
Filling your cells with energy.
As you continue to breathe in and as you continue to breathe out,
Releasing all that no longer serves you,
That keeps you down.
Letting that just exhale out with each breath.
And perhaps even exhaling a little bit longer to really empty out your belly.
Letting it fall inward as you exhale all that's been deeply held in your belly.
And notice the lightness on the next inhale of your heart and your soul.
As you listen with all of your senses,
Cultivate that healing within your mystical heart.
Let all this place's beautiful sensations fill you with positive vibrations in your mind,
Your body and your spirit.
Creating space by letting go allows you to fill your heart with joy.
Cultivating time to strengthen your mystical heart so that you can heal and release the past is an act of self-love.
Bask in the beauty and the harmony of your perfect place.
Feel your heart lighten and open.
Your mystical heart is full of self-love,
Compassion and appreciation for your attention to its healing today.
Look around and feel all of the beauty of this place,
Knowing you can return to it at any time to fill yourself with positive energy and to release and let go of negative energy.
Slowly begin to become aware of your body,
Taking a deep belly breath,
Expanding and then letting it go,
Maybe with a sigh.
And taking another deep breath,
Coming back into your physical reality,
Feeling refreshed and renewed,
Feeling the energy of your perfect place.
May your mystical heart feel healed and refreshed with self-love.
