Bode Have you heard about the legendary Pumpkin Queen?
She is mystical,
Magical,
Magnificent,
And rarely seen.
The Pumpkin Queen will only appear when summer is over and the fall is near.
The legend says that she brings only death and decay,
But there is so much more that the Pumpkin Queen puts on display.
Let's start from the beginning of the legendary Pumpkin Queen's story,
A time when magic was true and not mere allegory.
A tale of a pumpkin princess that would soon be Pumpkin Queen,
In a faraway forest kingdom in a land that remains unseen.
The pumpkin princess Persephone would soon sit on the queen's pumpkin throne,
As she was of the right age and her magic was almost fully grown.
Persephone was excited for this day she would put her Princess Tiara down and put on the precious and powerful Pumpkin Queen crown.
Now with her pumpkin crown and pumpkin wand in hand,
The Pumpkin Queen was ready to perform her duties as planned.
Persephone was now ready as summer was approaching its end.
She had come to our land to help nature transcend.
With a wave of her wand and the power from the crown on her head,
The Pumpkin Queen transformed all the green leaves into yellow,
Orange,
Brown,
And red.
In short time those leaves will fall to the ground,
Giving the earth much needed nutrients to be found.
The Pumpkin Queen is responsible for more than just destruction.
She makes way for the plants and animals metamorphosis and reproduction.
As Persephone brings the magic of transformation and change,
She leaves the abundance of pumpkins,
Carrots,
And squash in exchange.
It is now with a new understanding and wisdom you see,
The Pumpkin Queen Persephone is a blessing of rebirth and fertility.
