Kale,
Kale,
Kale.
What's all the fuss?
I really do not want to eat kale.
There is nothing more to discuss.
I have never actually eaten kale,
You see.
I just know that this leafy green is just not for me.
I would rather try to surf on top of a humpback whale than eat that leafy green kale.
I would rather crawl on the ground like a slimy snail than have my plate filled with crunchy green kale.
I would rather boat around the world in a ship that has no sail than try a bite of that green leafy kale.
I would rather skydive to deliver air mail than eat even a morsel of that hearty cabbage called kale.
I would rather ride on a train that has no rail than experience the crunch of that crispy green kale.
I would rather trek through the jungle with no map and no trail than sample that nutrient-packed kale.
I would rather put all of my video games up for sale than munch on that leafy green kale.
Okay,
Admittedly,
My objections to kale might be a bit exaggerated and uncalled for.
Perhaps through some research,
I can discover some benefits from eating kale with less disdain and abhor.
Kale is packed with vitamin A which is important for healthy eyes to see.
Well,
That seems pretty impactful,
I must agree.
Kale also has vitamins C and K.
Those nutrients make for a strong immune system and help build bones without delay.
Kale contains folate,
A B vitamin that helps make a healthy brain.
With all of these benefits,
I'm starting to think my resistance to kale is beginning to sound a bit insane.
There are so many recipes with kale that I came across.
I can even make kale chips,
A healthy snack that won't add inches to my waist or hips.
I will eat kale.
I think I'm ready to try it.
I'm ready to make kale a big part of my healthy new diet.
I will eat kale on the back of a truck filled with a hay bale.
I will eat kale as an after-school snack.
I will eat kale to help keep my eyes and immune system on track.
I will eat kale to ensure my health continues to thrive.
I will continue to eat kale to help me feel rejuvenated and to keep the healthy cells in my body alive.
Tonight,
I will surprise my family with some kale recipes that I have found.
I will even begin to plant some kale in the garden with these seeds underground.
Maybe you will be inspired to try some healthy green kale too.
Please be sure to drop me a line and let me know when you do.
