Welcome to Rising Zen with Desire with an E.
In this session we will be focusing on releasing and healing of congested energy and bringing love into its place for a free flowing experience.
As we begin getting into a comfortable position we choose either to lay down with eyes open or closed or sitting with your spine erect creating space between the segments of your spine.
Just getting into whatever will be a comfortable position for you.
As you are arriving into this moment take some time to notice how you are breathing.
Notice if the air is warm or cool coming in through the tips of your nostrils.
Notice if your breath is shortened or lengthened.
Just notice.
Standing back so to say watching with your mind's eye as to how you are breathing.
Let's begin by taking in a deep breath drawing in slowly.
Filling the lower belly first and releasing the air slowly relaxing the body.
As you are breathing in consciously breathe out.
Begin to acknowledge that your breath is sustaining the oxygen within your tissues,
Within your organs.
Breathing in slowly and breathing out.
As you are breathing begin bringing your focus to the area at the center of the top of your head.
Envision that your breath enters your body through the center from above your head.
As you are breathing in this energy imagine as if you are on a beach and the wind is softly caressing your body.
Notice which way the wind is coming from.
As the wind is passing from one direction to another imagine the air is warm and full of sunshine.
Warming and relaxing the muscles from the top of your head to the base of your neck.
Begin to scan all the muscles allowing them to relax.
Breathing in as you relax your forehead,
Your eyebrows,
Allowing the muscles in your eyes to relax down the bridge of your nose,
Your cheeks and cheekbones,
Your lips and your jaw.
Even release your chin moving downward relaxing your neck.
Breathing in slowly,
Consciously this wonderful air salty to the taste full of warmth and sunshine.
Relaxing your neck as you release the breath relaxing your shoulders and your arms releasing the muscles all the way down to your hands and your fingers.
Drawing in a beautiful sunshine breath.
Exhaling relaxing all the muscles in your chest and in your belly.
Filling up slowly with air.
Release this breath as you relax your pelvic muscles and your thighs feeling the warm beach air glide across your skin.
Breathing in the relaxation with the air.
Breathing it out letting the muscles in your calves relax,
Your ankles and in your feet relax.
Enjoy this beautiful state of relaxation feeling and noticing whether your body has become heavier light.
Begin to notice your connection to the ground.
As we continue envisioning ourselves on this beautiful beach begin to scan your body starting from your toes.
Working for any congested energy that might be making muscles tight.
Breathing in scanning upward to your knees to your pelvis breathing out releasing any sensations of holding on.
Take in a slow breath search for any constriction in your abdomen.
Exhale breathe out and let go letting anything not serving you allowing it to leave with the breath.
Once more breathing scanning up through the chest neck and head releasing the breath and anything that is blocking the free flow of blood and energy.
As you note where the different areas of pressure congestion or tightness were begin to focus on the area that may have been or may still be holding on to the most tension.
Let us take a deep breath in past your lungs and to the area that was holding the most tension.
As you release the air let it leave not only from your lungs but imagine that it passes through the skin directly out into the world around us.
Allow yourself to feel an immediate relief as the tension leaves using the path of least resistance.
Taking in the warm beach air once again focusing on breathing into this area release the breath and the muscles as the air flows easily from inside your body to outside your body.
Now that you've relaxed this area let's envision within the center of this area a very faint light a lot like the sun a very very far distance you can notice.
See if you can see with your mind's eye the color of that light.
Is it maintaining the same color or is the light changing colors?
Is the color warm?
Are they bright?
Are they subdued?
Try to focus on that light.
As you are focusing breathing consciously and slowly inwards filling your belly outwards releasing all that does not flow easily.
Imagine this time as you breathe in that you're breathing into that lighted area that very small light and breathing in as you continue slowly breathing notice when you inhale whether the light is expanding or decreasing breathing in allowing that light to show you its response to your breath and exhaling notice once again the response.
Notice the color notice the size.
Now with your next breath create the intention of changing the color to a soft white almost bluish light.
This soft light responds to your request of changing the color breathing in and allowing that color to infuse into the light.
As you breathe out notice if the light stays the same size.
On this next breath as you're breathing in imagine that the light is growing larger in the space that you have noticed.
As you're breathing in it's expanding and as you're breathing out it's resting.
On this last breath inward towards this place I'd like you to bring the emotion of happiness and love into this place.
Breathing in happiness,
Love,
Joy and breathing out any emotion that does not serve you.
Allow the happiness and positive feelings to radiate in this area that you have chosen to focus on.
Allowing,
Noticing,
Accepting.
Now focus on these emotions and recall any other areas in your body where you may have been experiencing tenseness or restriction.
And as we breathe in the next breath let's expand that light of happiness and joy so it reaches those other areas that need attention.
Breathing inwards expanding that light as far as it needs to reach and exhaling relaxing noticing the rest.
Slow conscious breathing making your light so much brighter expanding to your entire body.
Noticing on your next breath the light is now exuding outside of your body out from your toes and your fingers out from your eyes and the top of your head.
Breathing intentionally as you place positive emotions to flow through your body.
We have the power of imagination.
We have control of emotion.
It is our choice.
We can choose to be positive and relax.
The breath is what helps to turn this thought of imagination and envisionment into feeling.
In this wonderful state of light exuding notice if there are any crevices or corners that have yet to receive light.
Perhaps there are some places that are not as well lit as others.
Use your dial and your sense of direction to infuse light with your next breath.
Infusing it and turning it up allowing it to fill all the areas.
Let's bring our focus to the navel.
Behind the navel imagine there is an orange ball of light.
A ball a lot like the size of a golf ball but it sits in the light you have been infusing but it holds its own color of orange.
Breathing into that orange light allowing that sphere to begin spiraling pulsing on an axis as you breathe notice how fast or how slow it is turning.
See if you can affect with your mind and your emotions slowing down the rotation or speeding it up with your breath.
Notice how you feel.
What emotions are running through your body?
Ask yourself how can I increase my will?
As you're breathing filling your belly feeling the light respond feel the acceptance of this understanding you are one with your intentions.
Lastly as you're breathing in imagine there is a golden stream of light coming into your navel traveling to and expanding streaming upwards towards your head and downward towards your feet.
As this golden stream of light is traveling in your body notice it branches out to your arms traveling out the palms of your hands.
Acknowledge how this golden light is making you feel.
Imagine that this light is golden light is infused with peaceful feelings.
The source is peaceful.
Coming in through the navel upward and outwards this peaceful feeling is generating true happiness.
Notice if you are smiling.
Try smiling a little gently as you're breathing.
Allow all of the light to shine through your mouth as you smile.
Imagine as you breathe in peacefulness increases,
Joy increases.
As you breathe out all you have to breathe is peace and happiness.
Now begin using your dimmer to slowly dial down the radiant light.
As you're slowly and consciously dimming and breathing bid a peaceful adieu to this light this peaceful light that is visited with you today.
Closing now closing the extension of light from the top of your head bringing that light down and relaxing as you are slowly drawing breath in and releasing it out.
When you are ready open your eyes and return to the present moment with sight and trajectory the path you follow under the action of your focus.
