Rare Method, Somatic-Informed
Details
The Revival A week designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself. Set between the jungle and the Pacific Ocean of Puerto Vallarta, The Revival invites you to step away from the pace of everyday life and into a rhythm shaped by nature, movement, rest, and meaningful connection. Each day is thoughtfully designed to support nervous system health, emotional wellbeing, and embodied renewal—creating the conditions for lasting change rather than temporary escape. Mornings begin with the Rare Method™ practice, founder Randelle Lusk's signature somatic-informed approach to mind, movement, breath, and self-inquiry. Blending fluid movement, therapeutic techniques, dynamic breathwork, cathartic release, and intentional pause, each practice helps you reconnect with your body, release what you've been carrying, and build greater capacity for life beyond the retreat. Throughout the week you'll gather for guided workshops, self-inquiry, sharing circles, and restorative practices that deepen self-awareness while fostering genuine connection with others. Between sessions, your time is your own. Swim in the ocean, hike to nearby waterfalls, book a spa treatment, read in a hammock, or simply rest. Nourishing chef-prepared meals, breathtaking surroundings, and spacious afternoons allow you to move at your own pace. More than a vacation, The Revival is an opportunity to reset your nervous system, reconnect with what matters, and return home feeling clearer, lighter, and more fully yourself.

The Revival is hosted at Mixto Villa, an intimate beachfront retreat nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the lush jungle of Quimixto, Mexico. Designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, Mixto offers a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere where the sound of the waves and the rhythm of nature become part of your daily experience. To accommodate our growing retreat community, a limited number of overflow rooms are available at Xinalani, Mixto Villa's Michelin Key parent property, located a short walk away through the local village. Guests staying at Xinalani enjoy the same Rare Method programming, shared meals, and retreat experience, with the added opportunity to stay in one of the property's beautifully appointed accommodations, including the Beach Casita with a private plunge pool or the Eco Chic Suite nestled into the jungle with ocean views. Whether you stay at Mixto Villa or Xinalani, you'll be immersed in the same thoughtfully curated retreat experience, surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty and a community that gathers each day to move, restore, and reconnect. About the Property: Xinalani is the mother resort to Mixto Villa, where our retreat is being hosted. The walk between the two properties is approximately 5-7 minutes along a dirt path through the local village. The Xinalani property is built up the mountainside with stairs connecting features of the property. Additionally, as a Xinalani guest you will have beach and lunch privileges at your "home" resort.

"Eating is an act of celebration at Mixto Villa. We cook with love, and believe that every meal should be an opportunity to nourish both body and soul. After all, food is one of the main sources of prana: the vital life energy that fuels our physical and mental wellbeing."
