Details

Roche Art Retreat is an immersive creative experience in the peaceful countryside of rural France, where art becomes a pathway to self-discovery, authenticity, and personal transformation. This retreat is not about perfection, performance, or mastering techniques. Instead, it invites you into the liberating process of creation as a means of exploring who you are. Through art, music, movement, and creative expression, you will be encouraged to let go of expectations, embrace imperfection, and reconnect with your unique voice. Set within a beautiful 19th-century farmhouse surrounded by nature, Roche offers a tranquil environment where you can step away from the demands of daily life and create space for reflection, inspiration, and renewal. Every aspect of the retreat is designed to support deeper presence, creative freedom, and self-expression. You will be guided by a team of experienced facilitators and artists who provide a safe, supportive atmosphere for exploration and growth. Alongside your personal creative journey, you'll become part of an intimate international community of artists, seekers, and creatives, fostering meaningful connections, collaboration, and shared inspiration. Whether you arrive as a practicing artist or simply feel called to reconnect with your creativity, Roche offers an opportunity to slow down, nourish yourself, discover new perspectives, and return home with a deeper sense of authenticity, confidence, and creative aliveness.

The residency gave me the space to explore the meaning of creativity. No pressure for an outcome or expectations of an audience. Just free exploration and fun. The beautiful surrounding helped to arrive in the moment.

Eva Scheltema, The Netherlands

The moment I stepped foot at La Roche, I felt the long journey make way for relaxation. The rustic farm and beautiful surroundings instantly created space for unforced creativity in a back-to-basics setting. I really enjoyed meeting people from different artistic disciplines and discovering new perspectives through our conversations and exchanges. In the heart of the Morvan, this is a wonderful, low-key retreat to clear your head, slow down, and make space for new ideas.
