Sweet child of mine, Son and daughter of the universe, You are the sun, Moon, And stars forever in my eyes. Sweet one, You are everything that I've ever hoped for. Golden child, Celebrate the morning light, Smell the sunshine, Hear the laughter in the rain, Stare at the stars and cast your dreams out to the sky. Lift up your voice so that it can be heard. Darling one, Growing sometimes causes discomfort, And sometimes there is no shelter from life's storms. Life will not be without sorrow, Yet everything heals with time. Sweet child, Step with lightness and let go of your heavy load. Wherever you go, I am near. For my love is the sun, Wind, And rain. My love song will be your song of joy. And wherever love is found, I am near. Sweet child of mine.
