This is a meditation for self-care and relaxation in the bath.
So the first thing you want to do is run yourself a bath and have this meditation ready to go once your bath is ready.
The guided spoken component will take 10 minutes and then the music will continue on for another 10.
As you slowly enter the warm water of the bath,
Allow yourself to submerge into the warmth and feel the water surround your body.
Close your eyes and take three deep calm breaths feeling the warmth surround you.
With each breath feel yourself relaxing deeper.
This is your time to relax.
As you feel the water surround you now,
Start to bring your awareness to your physical body and become aware of the sensation of the water around your feet.
Bring that awareness all the way from the tips of your toes all the way up your ankles,
Your calves,
Your knees,
All the way up your legs,
Your hips,
Your lower back,
Your waist,
Chest and heart center,
Arms and neck.
Feel the warm water surrounding you.
Become aware of the sensation of the water healing you,
Circulating your body and hydrating your skin.
This is your time to relax.
Relax even deeper now.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Let go of the day.
This is your time to relax.
As you bathe in the water become completely present and still in this moment.
And as you feel the water around you,
Feel this water healing your physical body.
Feel the water healing your emotional body.
Feel the water healing your mental body and mind.
Feel the water healing your spiritual body.
As you give yourself this time to relax,
Feel the water healing and surrounding you.
Because by prioritizing your self-care you are deepening your self-love.
By deepening your self-love you are extending your relationship with yourself.
And the deeper your relationship with yourself is,
The more you enhance all the relationships in your world.
This is your time to relax.
This is your time to relax.
This bath is a symbol of you being fully supported,
Nurtured,
Healed and loved.
The water surrounding you could be a representation of your emotions and so as you connect with the water give yourself space for any emotions from the day which you may not have been able to express the place to surface now.
So often in life we have to shut down our emotions but this is your time to heal and relax and so you can allow anything which needs to be cleansed,
Released,
Healed,
Be released.
This is your time to relax.
Take another gentle deep breath and really give yourself permission to fully relax knowing there is nowhere to be.
There is nothing to do.
This is the most important gift you can give yourself right now in this moment.
This is your time to relax.
The following affirmations can be repeated in your mind or you can speak them aloud if that feels supportive for you.
I am relaxed.
I am calm.
I am loved.
I am supported.
I am worthy.
I am healing.
I am relaxed.
Thank yourself for giving yourself this time to relax.
Thank yourself for prioritizing your self-care.
