We're going to close our eyes and today our little topic or what we're choosing to find a remedy for is about making decisions and making a decision can be so hard.
We can feel an immense amount of pressure to do the right thing and if we think about a decision as a choice like it's something that you just choose whether you're going to have chocolate or vanilla and I know you might be thinking well that's a hard choice for me but if we try to make it really simple and things that you are very clear about choosing for yourself right and so it can be hard to choose to leave a job to leave a relationship to choose to move to a new place because there's a lot of fear around it and if we make it something just a tiny bit simpler this idea of chocolate or vanilla for example so find a spot could be anywhere doesn't have to be any place special and just start to breathe and maybe there is this big decision for you that is looming and you have to try to take it pretty soon and you're just wrestling with it and it's almost bringing up sensations in your body there's discomfort and maybe your sleep is being affected and maybe your interactions with people are being affected because you feel kind of grumpy because it's hard so if we just sit for a moment and we think about pulling back some of the layers and just breathing so close your eyes wherever you are and start to find a breath in your body and feel like it can go up and down and up and down and you can expand and contract and so I want you to imagine as you're continuing to breathe an outcome the best outcome the best thing that you can possibly fathom that could happen as a result of you taking this decision of you making up your mind about this issue or concern maybe it's that changing of jobs and I want you to think about yourself in that new place where you are with new colleagues or you're in a new setting or maybe it's the decision to break away from a traditional workday and to work for yourself and to imagine all of the things what that would look like how that would be for you so it may not be that it might not be the job it might be a relationship it might be living in a different place you're just thinking about changing something about your life you're making a choice and you're allowing yourself to visualize what that would look like the most wonderful outcome and just breathe into that space breathe into that space that space of knowing finding the rhythm of your breath and allow yourself to sit for a little longer maybe even flushing out a few more of the details fully inhaling and fully exhaling I'm gonna quiet the sound of my voice and allow you just to continue to let that beautiful story unfold seeing all of the colors and all of the goodness I want you to hold on to this beautiful picture that you have created because if you can see it it can happen and the steps and the way that it unfolds is usually so different than anything that we ever could contemplate very often it's not at all how we thought it would be and yet it is magical and so that's kind of what we are looking at creating when we set time aside and we explore this idea of being guided into a meditation that we are co-creating a little bit of magic being sprinkled with a little bit of fairy dust finding a bit of a remedy for something that is weighing on us so as the rest of your day unfolds maybe it's late in the day and you're taking this moment to settle before resting keep this beautiful picture that you have created in your mind and in your heart take a deep breath breathe in and sigh it out and as you continue to go go lightly go with an open heart go with a big smile and take it one breath at a time
