Welcome to the trauma healing meditation.
Find a calm quiet spot,
Set the lighting nice and low and do whatever you need to do right now to get as comfortable as possible.
Take some nice deep belly breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth like you're blowing out a candle in and out out,
In and out.
All of these calming techniques are encouraging your body to release oxytocin,
Our own natural relaxation hormone.
Let's go back to the breath now,
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth,
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
I am so much more than my trauma.
What happened to me does not define me.
I am kind and gentle to myself after everything I have been through.
I deserve love.
I deserve joy.
I deserve a peaceful life.
In and out.
In and out.
The things that hurt me no longer have any power over my life.
I set healthy boundaries with those around me in order to protect my peace.
I am healing from the things I don't talk about.
I can and will overcome far more than I even think is possible.
In and out.
In and out.
Let's go back together.
I am not a burden and I have permission to live a full and vibrant life.
Healing is not linear and that is okay.
In and out.
In and out.
It is okay to ask for help.
I am not broken.
It is safe to be myself.
In and out.
In and out.
I am a survivor and my story matters.
My pain and my trauma are valid and I am important.
In and out.
In and out.
I embrace the waves of healing and the ups and downs that may come with that.
My feelings are safe and I allow myself to flow with them.
I let go of any shame or guilt around the things I did to keep myself safe.
In and out.
In and out.
I am worthy of healing.
I deserve to fill myself with self-love,
Compassion and kindness.
This is my life now and I choose healing.
I choose peace.
I am worthy.
