Namaste.
My name is Raman.
We always have a huge list of to-dos.
And are always occupied with doing something.
Many of us meditate with a sense of achieving something in the future.
How about we just set it?
Enjoy your being for some time.
Doing absolutely nothing.
Not even meditation.
How about.
.
.
Just for some time.
We leave aside our mental concept of what meditation is.
And expectations from our practice.
In the first half of our practice.
We'll use some anchors.
To establish ourselves in presence.
And in the second half.
Will just sit in silence.
Doing nothing.
There will not be any instructions in this phase.
It's important to sit straight.
And alert.
But without any tension.
And stiffness in your posture.
Now find a comfortable place to set.
You can sit on a chair.
Or cross-legged.
If you are sitting on a chair.
Keep your feet comfortably rested on the ground.
Keep your hands.
On your knees.
Or in your lab.
Sit with your back comfortably straight.
And spine in a straight line.
Alert yet relaxed.
Relax your forehead.
Relax your eyes.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your complete body.
Now glance through your body.
And observe different sensations.
In different parts of your body.
Feel the natural state of your body.
Feel the weight of your body.
How do you feel in this moment?
Is it light?
Is it heavy?
Is it pleasant?
Is it unpleasant?
Just observe without trying to change.
Label.
Or resist anything.
Now bring your entire attention to your breath.
Feel the natural state of your breath.
Natural rhythm of your breath.
Breath coming in.
Breath going out.
Breath coming in.
Breath going out.
Just be aware.
And present to your breath.
Now let go of your attention on the breath.
And bring your attention to your right big toe.
Can you feel its existence?
Full attention.
On your right big toe.
Now bring your attention to the sounds around you.
Sounds coming from your room.
Sounds coming from far off places.
And now the sounds coming from your own body.
Sound of your breath.
Sounds of different sensations.
In your stomach.
And now bring your attention to your thoughts.
What kind of thoughts are moving around?
Thoughts around.
Planning.
Imagining.
Random memories,
Pictures.
Images.
Flashbacks.
Imaginary conversations.
Pull attention on your thoughts.
And now bring your attention to your feelings,
Your emotions.
What kind of energy do you feel in your body?
All right.
Now let go of all the anchors.
And let's sit still just being.
No doing at all.
Welcoming all the sensations.
Pleasant.
Unpleasant.
Neutral.
Welcoming all the thoughts.
Pleasant.
Unpleasant.
Neutral.
And welcoming all the emotions.
Pleasant.
Unpleasant.
Neutral.
No resistance.
No attachment.
No domain.
If you are feeling good.
If you are not feeling good.
That's ok too.
If you feel the emptiness in between your thoughts.
That's great.
And if you have a lot of thoughts.
That's okay,
Too.
Allowing each and every experience.
That occurs in your consciousness.
Don't even try to do meditation.
In fact,
Forget about meditation.
Just sit still.
Alert yet relaxed.
Allowing everything.
Just allowing.
And watching.
Just being.
And if you are enjoying your breath.
Or sounds around you.
Or the natural state of your body.
That's great.
And if you don't feel centered.
Don't feel grounded.
That's fine too.
Remembers.
No doing.
No resistance.
Just being.
And one last thing.
Don't succumb to your first impulse to move your body.
Don't make any spontaneous movements.
And if it is really getting uncomfortable.
Then please feel free to move your body.
Just do it very consciously and slowly.
So before we move on to the next phase.
Let's look at your push share again.
And please feel free to make any adjustments to your posture at this time.
And now?
For some time.
Let's just be.
You will now hear my voice.
And I ask you to come back.
Enjoy your being.
Alright.
Now whenever you want to come back.
Take a deep breath.
Gently wriggle your toes.
Give your body a good stretch.
Bring your palms together in a Namaste posture.
And rub them to generate heat.
And feel the warmth of your palms or your closed eyes or your face.
Gently open your eyes.
Feeling a sense of freshness.
Peace.
Groundedness.
And silence within you.
May you just.
Bee.
Thank you so much for practicing with me.
Namaste.
