Hello and a warm welcome to Inside Timer.
I am Rahul Singh.
Perhaps there is something you feel you need to understand before you can relax.
A decision,
A conversation,
A person,
Something about the future.
And the mind keeps returning to it,
Looking for the answer.
There is a difference between thinking something through and thinking the same thing again.
One can bring clarity,
The other only keeps you inside the question.
Sometimes the mind keeps thinking,
Not because there is more to understand,
But because it is trying to create certainty.
Uncertainty may not be available yet.
So for these next few moments,
Stop asking the mind to solve what cannot be solved right now.
Feel the weight of your body.
Notice what is supporting you.
Take a slow breath in and let the exhale leave gently.
Now notice what your mind keeps circling around.
You do not need the whole story,
Just recognize it and quietly ask,
Is there anything I can actually do about this right now?
If there is,
Recognize the next step.
You do not have to take every step now.
And if there is nothing you can do,
More thinking will not create an action.
Some things need a decision.
Some things need more information.
Some things need time.
And some things are simply unresolved.
Unresolved does not mean unsafe.
Bring your attention to your hands.
Notice if they are holding tension.
Let the fingers loosen.
Let the palms soften.
Imagine placing this question down,
Not throwing it away,
Not pretending it does not matter.
Simply setting it beside you for now.
Let the forehead soften.
Unclench the jaw.
Drop the shoulders.
Let the breath become easy.
Let the body receive a different message.
I do not have to solve this in this moment.
If the mind returns,
You do not need to argue with it.
You do not need to follow it.
Simply say,
Not now.
I can return to this when thinking will actually help.
Again,
Not now.
You are allowed to pause before you know.
You are allowed to rest before everything is resolved.
Silently remind yourself,
I do not need to figure everything out right now I do not need to figure everything out right now Clarity does not always come from thinking harder.
Sometimes it comes when you stop forcing an answer,
When you give something time,
When you allow more information to arrive,
When you become quiet enough to see what was hidden by all the thinking.
So leave some space for time,
For perspective,
For what you can not yet see.
You do not need an answer simply because the mind is asking for one.
You do not need to know more right now.
You only need to stop asking this moment for an answer it does not have.
What needs to become clear can become clear in its own time.
And when the next step is there,
You can meet it then.
For now,
Let the question rest.
