Let's breathe and follow our breath into the interior of our being.
Let's follow our breath,
Feel what's going on in us.
There's the body that holds so much,
So many of our stories,
Our experiences,
Our thoughts,
Our stresses,
Our worries,
Our excitement and joys.
So much of all of life is held in the body,
In the tissues,
In the nervous systems,
In the organs,
In the blood.
The physical body was created to be a home for our being,
For our spirit,
For our human life.
So,
As we're breathing,
Feel into this human body.
This is an incredible mechanism and like a house that we live in over years,
Holds and accumulates the material items of our experiences in so many ways.
So our body is a home,
Holds so much of the energy that we accumulate as we go through life.
And you know,
We need to allow this body to release that energy or it gets really stuck.
And when we have stories that we believe,
Especially stories about our lives,
About the way we identify ourselves as,
I'm just a person who,
That messaging forms a stress in the body.
It's an energetic hit on the nervous system and the rest of the whole body to say nothing of the brain.
When we believe in the stories of lack and unworthiness and negativity about ourselves or about our lives,
That gets backed up in the body and it will eventually make us sick or so shielded from love that we won't be able to experience it.
So as you're breathing,
As we're breathing right now,
Feel whatever is locked in the body.
Let it move,
Breathe it out.
Because in reality,
All of those thoughts and ideas and restrictions that we put on our thinking and the concepts that we can believe in that don't go anywhere,
All that stuff the body is trying to manage.
It's trying to figure out where to put it.
If we're not helping the body move it,
That goes for physical ailments as well for pain.
Yes,
We get injuries.
Yes,
We have to deal with illness and dysfunction when it happens in the body.
But so much of it has to do with the energy that's blocked in the body.
Just feeling into it.
Maybe this is all something that you already know very well,
But it's a really good reminder to put into practice the daily movement of stuck energy,
Blocked energy in the body,
Stretching,
Breathing,
Letting go through the breath,
Just letting go of all the thoughts that are bringing us down.
The doubts and confusions,
They're not real.
They feel real.
I have a good story to them often,
Not always.
It is said that we are capable of living our whole life like a meditation.
What does that mean?
A whole life like a meditation?
It means that we live in awareness of letting go.
We live a life of dropping in and to whatever level we are asked to expand in consciousness,
Whatever level of desire we have to experience all the levels and dimensions of life that we possibly can,
If that is your calling,
To have love present in life,
To have love present in life.
That means living in awareness,
A conscious awareness of letting these energies move all the time.
So even right now,
Whatever part of you is sitting in your head,
Take a breath,
Bring the energy down,
Down,
Down into the body.
Feel that dropping in on the exhale and whatever it is that is causing contraction,
Shutdown,
Freeze,
Whatever it is that you just want to distract yourself away from,
That you want to go into denial about,
That you want to just pretend is not there or whatever it is that is just churning over and over and over again with the same old negative message.
Do we dare to take a breath into it right now and then breathe it out?
Move the body a little with the breath.
Move the energy that's stuck in an unending loop of messaging.
Living life as a meditation doesn't mean sitting on a pillow all day with our legs crossed,
But it means being hyper aware,
Not only of our breath,
Not only of moving whatever energy is blocked in us,
But hyper aware of the basic goodness of life and that anything that is in the way of experiencing that basic goodness of life needs to be let go.
It's not about escaping into some fantasy world where everything's okay.
What it means is the awareness that there is basic goodness in every aspect of our lives,
Even if they're really hard.
They're hard for a reason.
We're meant to grow.
We're meant to get past the dips in the road and we're meant to keep expanding and experiencing and reaching for new heights and experiencing new depths.
We're meant in this ongoing meditation to open our hearts to a greater and greater love,
To experience the evolvement of human love in our lives,
To be willing to do the work to nurture a new love,
A new relationship,
To keep appreciating and loving an ongoing relationship,
To let it grow and change,
To find something new to appreciate about another person every day.
A life of ongoing meditation is a life of awareness of the essential goodness of all things in life,
Even if they don't look so good or feel so good.
A meditative state is one in which we are surrendered to the growth,
To the taking of lessons from our experiences.
A meditative life is appreciating,
Having gratitude,
Not just when things are easy and beautiful,
But sometimes when things are appalling,
Scary,
Confusing,
And hard to look at,
Putting those into our hearts as well,
Embracing all of life as a meditation,
A focus on breath,
Breathing,
Awareness.
Imagine your typical day.
Imagine experiencing the moments of that day with hyper-awareness,
Not in judgment of it,
But in the experience of it.
A meditation is a blessing on life that comes from us and reaches out to God.
It can be anything you're doing,
If it's done with awareness,
With spirit,
Even if you're screwing up,
Even if some old pattern creeps in and starts running you.
You watch it,
You breathe into it,
You try to let it go in the moment,
And you feel the body supporting the mind through the breath.
Feel the body not accumulating a debris field with stresses and stories and thoughts,
But rather the body as a fluid place where things are moving through it and not getting stuck as much as possible.
All of the body is grateful and cooperates and is healthy.
Feel it in yourself,
The choice that's available.
It's available to you all the time.
It just takes a willingness to practice it a lot,
To bring it into our lives,
To live our lives as a meditation,
As a breath of release and receiving.
So there you go.
As always,
The angels wait to see if we will pick up on the cues,
If we will do the work.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
