Welcome to this meditation on trusting your intuition.
Before we begin.
Just find yourself a comfortable seated position.
Somewhere you can relax.
And be still.
And receive inner guidance.
If you're an empath.
You already feel everything.
You know things before you can explain the how or the why.
So this work today isn't about receiving more.
It's about learning to trust.
What is already coming in.
The challenge for empaths.
Is really to discern between the loudness of anxiety,
And the choir to study at Patience.
Of the intuition.
We will begin by opening up.
The third eye chakra.
The seat of our intuition in yogic tradition.
Allowing us to come home to what we already know.
And just beginning to relax your shoulders.
Maybe just gently sway your head a little from side to side.
Tuck your chin in slightly.
Lengthening through the back of the neck.
And just feel yourself settle into your posture.
And now just beginning to breathe.
Take some slow mindful breaths.
Deeply focusing on your natural breath.
In however it arrives right now.
As you exhale you can imagine yourself releasing.
The energy,
The noise.
That you have absorbed from others.
With each inhale and exhale you return.
To yourself and to your own energy.
Now just beginning to deepen the breath.
Sending that breath into the diaphragm.
And just beginning to count the breaths.
Counting breaths up to seven.
Breathing in for one.
Breathing out for one.
Breathing in for two.
Breathing out for two.
Breathing in for three.
Breathing out for three.
Breathing in full.
Breathing out for four.
And allowing yourself just to be.
Continue up to 7.
And notice how the mind starts to focus.
The attention stops wandering.
Through this practice of counting the breaths.
When you have completed these breath rounds.
Just briefly return to the natural rhythm of your breath.
Without forcing.
We are going to use the focus of a mantra.
To help us connect.
To our intuition.
Repeating the phrase out loud now,
Seven times.
I am receiving messages from within.
I am receiving messages from within.
I am receiving messages from within.
I am receiving messages from within.
And now just stating that three more times out loud in your own time.
Now just directing your attention.
To the point between the eyebrows,
The third eye.
This is our seat of intuition.
A place of inner vision,
Of knowing.
A place beyond the thinking mind.
Between here I want you to visualize a soft.
.
.
Luminous light.
Radiating out from this point.
And with each breath.
.
.
This light grows.
It becomes more radiant.
Allowing it to just grow in intensity.
Through the breath.
As though the breath was fueling this light and just resting your awareness here in this light,
In this stillness.
Staying here with the breath.
And the light for the next few minutes.
If thoughts arise,
Just let them come and go.
Each time they do just come back to this light.
In the centre of your third eye.
You might like to silently say to yourself,
I am receiving messages from within.
You can repeat this over and over.
If something comes up right now,
Just allow that to be true.
Maybe it's an image,
A feeling.
And just receive this with openness.
And now we are going to continue with this practice.
But now we will just rest in silent awareness.
For the next 10 minutes.
I want you to now bring maybe into your mind's eye a decision.
Or situation.
That you need clarity on.
Something that you're finding difficult.
I just want you to Allow anything.
To come up in the next 10 minutes.
And trust that that is what is meant to arise.
Focusing on that light.
Or focusing on your breath.
You're resting here for 10 minutes.
Allowing the messages to come through.
Remembering.
Study intuition.
Will never try.
To dominate.
I'll never try to question.
It simply knows.
Allowing whatever to come up.
And of course,
If nothing comes.
This is also okay.
Trust that your inner wisdom is working even in the silence.
And now just begin to deepen your breath.
To even the inhales and the exhales.
Become aware of the room.
And the space around you.
The earth beneath you.
Placing both hands on your heart space.
Allowing yourself to connect to anchoring yourself.
Taking the time to connect to your third eye.
Can be particularly powerful to use.
A journaling session after this.
Either in the art.
Or in our own journal.
And just allow whatever needs to come to flow through you.
Onto the paper.
