Hello and welcome to this morning practice.
This is a practice of embodied affirmations.
My name is Rachel and I'm going to be your guide today.
As a sensitive soul myself,
I know how easy it is to carry self-doubt,
To question your worth and to feel like you're too much all at once.
This practice is powerful because it uses affirmations not as words but as felt experiences.
We'll be rewiring old beliefs and paving the way for new ones.
Gently rewiring our subconscious beliefs about ourselves.
So begin to find a comfortable seated position with a spine that is tall and gently closing down your eyes if you would like to.
These affirmations can be said internally or spoken out loud.
I do encourage you to speak them out loud if you can as this amplifies the vibration out into the universe.
And just beginning to notice your breath,
The natural rise and fall of your breathing.
Not trying to change it,
Not criticizing it,
Simply being aware,
Just breathing deeply in and breathing out.
And just for a moment bring to the surface all of the negativity that you have been told.
Maybe you're too sensitive,
Too emotional or that you need a thicker skin.
And just take a deep breath in and make a long audible exhale releasing what is no longer needed,
Letting those old stories and limiting beliefs fall away.
And bringing one hand to your heart space,
Feeling the heart beat beneath the palm.
And just repeating after me silently or out loud,
My sensitivity is my strength.
Feeling this truth radiate in your chest,
Let your chest soften as you say this,
Repeating it a few times,
My sensitivity is my strength.
I feel everything and I am powerful.
I feel everything and I am powerful.
Grounding through your feet as you say this,
You can feel deeply and stand strong.
Repeating this a few more times.
And now if you're able to extend your hands and your arms out to either side,
Taking them wide,
Taking up physical space.
You may repeat the affirmation,
I take up space and I belong here.
I take up space and I belong here.
Breathe fully into this expansion.
You no longer need to make yourself small for the comfort of others.
Now repeating out loud or in your head,
I do not shrink for anyone.
You can release your shoulders up to your ears and then take them back down the back.
Doing this a few more times just to open up through the shoulders.
Feeling your spine lengthen as you repeat this affirmation,
I do not shrink for anyone.
And you now may like to bring your hands to your belly,
Your gut area.
This is where your inner knowing stirs.
Just repeating.
I trust my inner wisdom.
I trust my inner wisdom.
Feeling into that knowing,
Trusting.
And just placing one hand gently on your throat,
Repeating,
I listen to myself first.
I listen to myself first.
And now just bringing your attention to the space between your forehead and your eyebrows.
And just visualizing from this point,
You moving throughout your day.
Your chest is open,
Your feet are rooted into the earth,
Your shoulders are back.
And you're speaking and moving with truth and confidence.
Taking up the space that you deserve,
Trusting yourself fully.
And this version of yourself is not somebody who only exists in this meditation.
This version lives within you.
This version is you.
Then just bringing both hands to your heart space once more.
Taking a deep breath in and a long exhale out.
Anytime you need to return to this feeling of confidence.
You can come back to these affirmations throughout your day.
When you're ready,
Just slightly blink open your eyes,
Letting the light peek in.
Thank you for practicing.
This was day two of the Morning Empowerment Series for Sensitive Souls.
Please feel free to connect with me or journal about your experience within the app.
Namaste.
