This is Rachel and thanks for joining me for a mindfulness moment.
For this one,
Just focus on taking a break and slowing down.
Take a moment to get into a comfortable position,
Gently closing your eyes and settling into your space,
Releasing any tension you may be holding in your body.
I invite you to get into a rhythm with your breath,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Deepening and lengthening your breath just a little bit throughout this mindfulness moment,
Thanking yourself for taking a break here and intentionally letting go of the outer world,
Just staying in the present here in this moment.
I invite you to bring your senses into play,
Providing grounding,
Staying in the present.
Just notice what sensations you feel,
Maybe hear,
With your inhalation and exhalation.
As you exhale,
I invite you to manifest a release,
A letting go,
Finding more ease and relaxation,
A softness which spreads throughout your being.
Again,
Just inviting you to express a moment of gratitude towards yourself for taking this time to slow down,
Rest and restore,
Knowing you provided yourself with a little break,
A moment of recentering and grounding.
Just taking a few more deep breaths here and when you are ready,
Slowly opening your eyes and joining your surroundings.
