Mantras and affirmations for putting yourself first. While it's important to consider the needs of others and be compassionate, neglecting your own needs consistently can lead to burnout, resentment, and decreased overall well-being. Therefore, putting yourself first is not selfish; rather, it's essential for maintaining a balanced and fulfilling life.

This is Rachel from Therapist Spills the Tea,

And thanks for joining me for a mindfulness moment.

This one is a series of mantras and affirmations for putting yourself first.

Many of us are people-pleasers,

And we find ourselves burning out and stressed because we prioritize others' needs over our own.

And putting ourself first is not selfish,

It is self-care.

Please enjoy these series of mantras.

I value my personal time and myself.

It is not selfish for me to stop people-pleasing and take care of myself instead.

I choose to value my needs and put them first.

I am not letting the needs of others disrupt my inner peace.

Even if I say no,

It is not my fault someone else is unhappy.

I can only find myself if I stop working to please others.

I recognize the importance of self-care,

And I choose to prioritize it.

Saying no respectfully and kindly will help me to prioritize myself without feeling bad.

My needs are valued and important.

I am not responsible for the feelings of anyone else except myself.

I am going to focus on the things that matter most to me.

I focus on my life path rather than approval from others.

I am focused on improving my self-respect.

When I value myself,

I attract valuable people and things.

I am responsible for making decisions in my life.

Putting myself first is my first priority.

I choose to trust myself and tune into my needs.

I choose self-care.

I choose to nourish myself,

Mind,

Body,

And spirit.

I love myself.

Thanks for joining me,

And I'll see you next time.
