Hello.
Welcome.
I'm Rachel Boucher,
And we're doing a short Yoga Nidra.
For resting.
Helping yourself to ground.
Letting your body relax more.
So if you're not familiar with Yoga Nidra,
It is.
.
.
Guided meditation that is frequently done at the end of yoga sessions,
Depending upon what you're doing.
And we're just jumping right to that.
And you have the option to either lay down or sitting in a comfortable chair.
And choose what feels best for you right now.
And just get yourself more comfortable.
However you need to.
Notice how your body feels.
Let yourself soften into the space.
And feel the contact.
Of the surface that's holding you.
And notice how it's holding you.
Gravities.
There to help you out.
And notice the textures on your skin.
And the air.
Around you.
With the sounds.
In the distance.
Just noticing those sounds and letting them be a part of the meditation.
Noticing the sounds of your own breathing.
And letting yourself just breathe naturally.
Noticing the rise and fall of your chest.
Notice.
How you feel.
Whatever sensations.
Thoughts or emotions are arising.
There's no need to judge them.
Just be your witness and welcome all of you.
Let all of you be here.
Every single feeling.
Thought,
And sensation.
Notice the top of your hand.
Your scalp.
Your forehead.
EARS Eyes.
Nose.
Jaw.
Upper lip.
Lower lip.
Chin.
Throat.
Shoulders.
Upper arm.
Elbows.
Lower arms.
Wrists.
Hands.
And fingers.
Notice.
Your whole arms.
From your fingers.
All the way up to your shoulders and become aware of your chest.
And the rising and falling.
Over your chest.
As you're inhaling and exhaling.
Notice your ribcage.
Stomach.
Hips thighs Knees.
Lower legs.
Ankles.
Foot,
Feet.
And toes.
Notice both of your legs.
All the way from your toes,
Up through your hips.
Be witness to how your legs feel.
How your arms feel.
And the sensations in your torso.
And your head.
And continue to notice how you're breathing.
And how the surface is holding you.
You are being held by the earth.
You're supported.
Let yourself feel that support.
Let yourself witness.
However you are,
Whatever sensations.
Emotions.
Thoughts?
Whatever's arising.
Just witness.
Let yourself feel that connection to the earth.
To the soil.
To the network within the soil.
The plants and trees.
The air.
The sky.
You are a part of this vastness that is so.
.
.
Here for you,
Supporting you,
Providing you oxygen.
Food.
Nourishment.
So many different ways that you're receiving support.
That you might not notice.
Just feel.
.
.
That sense of nourishment.
From the earth.
And let your body receive that.
Support.
Nourishment.
And perhaps you feel some love there too.
And when you're ready.
Notice the sound of your own breathing again.
And the sounds in the room.
Or in the distance.
And feel the fabric.
On your skin.
Whatever fabric is there.
And just Let yourself gently Come back to this space when you're ready.
Perhaps you wiggle some fingers or toes.
And do a little bit of a stretch if you prefer.
And if you wish,
There's some longer Yoga Nindra's much longer,
Because this one's really short,
That I have on Insight Timer as audios.
So feel free to check those out as well.
Thank you for being here.
Best wishes.
