Welcome to this self love practice.
Before we begin just take a few moments to settle in,
Find a comfortable seated position or lying down.
Just take a moment to give yourself permission to be here for this practice now.
Give your mind permission to be in this moment and your body permission to soften and relax.
Now let's take a few deep breaths together,
Breathing in deeply into the belly and then out,
Sighing out through the mouth as you release any air from your body,
Any tension that you are holding onto and softening.
Breathing in again through the nose,
Feeling your body expand and fill and then breathing out.
Letting your exhale be an opportunity to give your body permission to soften further,
To relax further.
Now just letting your breath return to a natural rhythm,
Letting the breath flow as it naturally wants to.
Just taking a moment to become more aware of the body as a whole,
Of any sensations that are present.
And just checking in with yourself with how you are in this moment.
Now bringing your awareness to your heart space,
The area of your chest where your heart is,
Just noticing any sensations there,
Perhaps placing a hand over your heart to help you connect with this space.
Now visualising a small bead of pure light at the centre of your heart.
As you become more aware of this light,
Just noticing how it feels as it slowly grows and expands,
The size of a small orb in your heart space.
Noticing its comforting and loving energy.
The energy of pure love.
Noticing as it continues to expand.
Starting now to feel your whole heart space.
Noticing any sensations that come with this loving light energy.
Is it warm,
Tingly,
Comforting,
Reassuring?
Now as it continues to grow,
Filling your whole body,
Continuing to expand,
To create a bubble around your body.
As you are enveloped in this beautiful energy,
In the frequency of love.
As it creates a safe and comforting bubble around you.
Knowing that this love energy is coming from within you,
For you.
And that it's always with you.
And we'll just spend a few more moments in this space.
Just being present with yourself,
With your body,
With your mind.
Noticing any sensations that come and go.
Noticing any thoughts that come and go.
And just bringing your awareness back,
The sensations of this beautiful bubble of love around you.
Now noticing as it softens back towards your body,
Shrinking back into your body,
Towards your heart space.
Now back to the size of your heart,
To a small orb.
Now allowing that to rest in your heart space.
Just noticing how you feel now.
Realizing ourselves that this love is always within us.
And is always available to us.
That the pure essence of love is within and is ever present.
Now take a few moments just to come back to noticing the body as a whole again.
Noticing any sensations that are present.
Noticing the breath.
Just being present,
The sensation of breathing.
Noticing the flow of air coming in and then leaving the body again.
As it passes through the nostrils and filling the chest and belly.
Then as it passes back out and the body softens further.
Now inviting a little bit of movement back into the body.
A little bit of movement in the fingers and the toes.
Perhaps rolling the head and neck.
Just allowing whatever movement feels good for you right here,
Right now.
When you're ready gently opening your eyes.
Continue continuing on with your day now,
Thinking yourself for taking this time here.
Taking some time for yourself to connect deeper with yourself and with the love that's within you always and available to you always.
