Today,
I will be guiding you through a chakra balancing meditation.
So get comfortable.
Either sit up straight with your feet rooted down on the floor.
Getting cross-legged with your spine nice and straight.
Or if you prefer,
Lying down flat on your spine.
When you're ready,
Breathe deeply and connect with your body.
Breathe into your belly and fill it up with oxygen.
Hold your breath at the top.
Take a loud exhale at the mouth.
Again breathe into your belly.
Allow it to expand.
Feel the energy come up through the spine and hold your inhale at the top of your head.
And release.
One more big breath.
Again drawing it all the way up and I want you to hold the breath.
Hold it and release.
Shutting down your eyes if you haven't already.
Noticing the sounds around you.
Begin to just anchor into your body.
Continue to breathe fully in and fully out.
Release what you no longer need to hold onto.
Again as you find your center,
Just notice the rise and fall of your breath.
We're going to begin by breathing down into the base of our spine,
Down into our root chakra,
Our chakra of belonging.
Let it soften and gently expand.
Taking in that breath,
That life force energy.
Just allow your roots to connect down into the earth.
Feel yourself rooted and connected as you envision a glowing red energy at the base of your spine.
Grounding you here and taking what you need from the roots.
Taking a deep breath in and a breath out.
Taking your awareness now right below your belly button.
Taking in this nourishment,
Envisioning an orange light,
A light that balances,
Motivates and empowers you at your sacral chakra.
Again taking in what you need and letting go of the rest.
Getting up now below your breastbone,
Your solar plexus.
This is the chakra of personal power,
Inviting in the color yellow.
Bathe in this beautiful light,
This sunshine,
The nourishment of this color.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Traveling up again,
Coming to the center of your chest,
Your heart chakra.
This is the chakra of self-development and unconditional love.
Breathe into your heart and as you do,
Invite a green light in.
Breathe in healing and renewal and loving energy to yourself.
Letting the warmth of your heart fill up your body and allow it to cleanse any unsupportive thoughts or feelings or emotions that may still be lingering.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
Continuing up now through your neck and into your throat chakra,
The chakra of self-expression,
Communication,
Authenticity.
Allow your throat to soften and invite blue glowing energy.
Breathe it in and clear out,
Becoming fully self-expressed.
Envision your throat fully opening and yourself speaking your truth.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Bring your awareness now in between your brow line and to your third eye chakra where we hold wisdom and our intuition.
Envision an indigo or a beautiful purple light bringing in clarity,
Bringing in insight and understanding,
Bringing in that deep wisdom and allowing that intuition to guide you.
Breathe in and let it go.
Moving on up to the crown of your head,
Harmonizing your oneness here with the universe,
The collective and allowing your crown chakra to take what it needs from this beautiful energy and allowing yourself to give it back to the collective.
Feeling a sense of oneness,
Of connectedness to the beings and the spirits around you.
Feeling a sense of love,
Compassion,
Comfort,
Connected oneness.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and hold it at the top of the crown of your head.
Feel that energy build and build and build and exhale,
Let it go.
You are now fully aligned with focus and with intention,
Harnessing this power and connecting each chakra to the one above,
Feeling grounded,
Connected and full of strength and power.
You are now ready to take on your day ahead.
And while you are here for one more moment,
Bringing some love and kindness back to yourself,
Placing your hands over your heart and breathing into that space.
Two more breaths,
Breathe in,
Allow your heart to open,
Breathe out,
Let it soften.
Last time inhale,
Biggest breath of your day,
Hold it and as you exhale,
Send that love out into the world,
Staying in this energy for as long as you need.
And whenever you feel ready,
Taking your time to gently open up your eyes and have an amazing day.
