Today's Consideration: Trust That God Shields Us

Today's Considerations are short observations about who God is and who we are in God. These observations are meant to weaken, hopefully, our conscious (and unconscious) habits that separate us from God and bring to awareness our characteristics that keep us in alignment with God.

Today's consideration.

There is great comfort in trusting in the Lord in the middle of trouble.

With this trust,

We can cast our fears,

Doubts,

And anxieties onto the Lord,

Leaving us with the opportunity to sing and rejoice despite the outside circumstances.

Trusting in the Lord doesn't mean we don't see attempts to harm us.

Rather,

We know we are delivered and watch our enemies fall into the traps they intended for us.

As our trust in the Lord grows,

We can remain fixed on him,

Celebrating his glory and the assurance that we are protected.

Soon,

We will have no cause to lament or grieve over persecution.

Rather,

Our immediate response will be to praise the Lord.
