Hello and welcome to this purely being guided meditation.
This meditation is a daily living meditation.
Daily living meditations are designed to help you take the principles and practice of meditation into your daily life.
Because of that,
They're created to be listened to on the go with your eyes open as you do simple tasks such as cleaning,
Cooking,
Going out for a walk,
Getting ready for the day or exercising.
And today our theme is serenity.
You can think of serenity as your base state of being.
If there are no distractions or interference in your field,
You exist in a sublime state of peace and inner stillness,
Even in the midst of motion.
Serenity is not something that you need to create or seek,
As it's always present in each and every moment.
If you pause for a moment in stillness and release thought,
You will see and feel that serenity is everywhere.
The whole earth is resting in a state of sublime inner stillness,
Silence and calm.
Just notice how the clouds move gently across the sky.
The trees stand in perfect stillness,
Utterly silent and content in their being.
The solidity and stability of the earth and bedrock below,
The foundation on which we live,
Move and have our being.
All of creation is a perfect harmony,
A perfect stillness and a perfect serenity just waiting to be acknowledged.
All that's required is that we tune in by pausing for a moment,
Choosing to be still,
To breathe and to notice where it already is.
And that's what we're going to be doing here today.
So wherever you are,
Whatever you're doing,
Just take a moment to pause,
Be still,
Breathe,
Be still.
Becoming slower in your movements,
Slower in your thoughts,
Starting to get a sense of the felt texture of this moment,
The realness of it and your aliveness within it.
Breathing softly and mindfully without conscious effort,
Simply allowing and witnessing your lungs expand and release with each inhalation and exhalation.
Perhaps pausing in and noticing the stillness at the bottom of each exhale.
Feeling your feet on the earth,
The living beat of your heart,
Feeling your hands and the soft energy that rests within and radiates from your palms,
Feeling an opening and a spaciousness in your mind as you allow your face,
Neck and shoulders to relax completely.
Now pause,
Be completely still for a moment and open up your awareness to the presence of serenity around you.
If you're outside or near a window,
You can connect to the trees or the open sky,
Noticing the stillness and serenity.
If you're indoors,
You might find it in the stillness of an object or structure around you.
Just notice where you can sense the presence of serenity around you.
Hold your attention here without gripping or grasping.
Just keep connecting to the sensation of serenity at the heart of stillness.
Let it move through you,
Tickling your awareness.
Notice where you feel it in your body.
What does that feel like?
Allow yourself to carry this serene sense with you into your movements and actions.
Feel it come alive in your facial expression,
In the cadence of your breath.
Become a center of serenity,
A place of peace,
A living calm in the midst of activity.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Release and relax completely.
For the next 10 minutes,
You'll hear a chime every minute.
When you hear the chime,
Release all gripping,
All grasping,
All conscious thought and simply tune into the serene serenity of now.
It may help to pause where you are and be still and then once again open your awareness to the serenity that is already present in the solidity of the earth,
The spaciousness of the air,
The stillness of the trees,
Or the structure of the home or building that you're in.
Connect to that sense of serenity,
That sense of simply being and integrate it into your body.
Carry it with you into your actions,
Into the cadence of your thoughts and movements.
Let it come alive within you as you exist as a center of serenity.
You'll hear my voice when the 10 minutes have passed.

You you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you wonderful take a nice deep breath in through your nose and exhale with a big sigh releasing all effort or tension and simply relaxing relaxing notice how you feel now perhaps reflect on how your movements,
Actions,
Thoughts changed as you connected to serenity how perhaps it slowed the cadence of your motion and brought a sense of grace,
Ease and lightness to your awareness take a moment to honour and thank yourself for showing up and being willing to open up to more serenity,
More peace in your experience of now perhaps closing your eyes and placing both hands over your heart as you do just taking a moment for you here to be loving and thankful towards yourself remember serenity is always present in all of creation ever available for you to connect to and be restored by when you release struggle,
Simply be,
It's there,
You're in it the more often you open up to it,
The more effortlessly present it will be in your experience soon serenity will simply be a way of life inhale deeply,
Exhale fully may you live,
